I really liked the concept of this drama. It has been a long time since a drama with real life concept came. Usually there are stories of adults or couples and not teen, thought their stories are also touching and fascinating. I think web dramas are more into teen themes. It will be soothing and emotional experience seeing this drama. The cast and the directing whole thing is amazing. Looking forward to watch this drama eagerly !

i absolutely loved the original webtoon so im so glad to see it becoming a live adaptation! although it is unlikely that the plot will be followed to the T, I was still so happy to see Hwang In Youp mention the asphalt scene as it was one of my personal favourites. Looking forward to Friday!

To be honest, my husband was excitingly telling me hey baby, your JCW's new drama coming very soon! I wasn't showing him any excitement, and told him, oh.. That Magician one? I didn't even watch the trailer, I told him straight, I don't think this kind of genre will be good. But I'm gonna watch it anyway. He told me it's only 6 episodes. My mood was killed even more cause its only 6. Turns out, it was so good. 1st episode, I admit, I skipped the first singing part. I'm like.. Oh gosh.. Musical and magic combo, I didn't expect it to be musical. I got disappointed with la la land so.. I wasn't so into it. Oh well I got hooked later on. Its so whimsical, and dreamy, and the fact that JCW again playing a role so different from his previous projects, and he nailed it. Again. I'm surprised! And I loved it a lot! Awesome show, beautiful music!

This is such a highly anticipated drama and I know that it'll exceed whatever expectations we have. The brief trailer teased the impressive production values and very whimsical visuals. To combine drama structure and musical quality is pure genius. I've not read the webtoon, but the small glimpse of Ri Eul's childlike and cheerful personality makes me think there's absolute none better to portray him than Ji Chang Wook. That charming smile and innocent-like expression could immediately win anyone's heart! At the same time I couldn't help but predict this personality trait may be a mask/distraction to keep a dark/painful past at bay. It also goes to show even the happiest individuals may be struggling inside. Dramas with emotional themes are a weakness personally. As we grow older, we're forced to suppress out innermost desires and fulfil what is demanded of us. I can sense this drama would resonate with a lot of viewers, maybe even causing your own childhood dreams to surface along the way.

I loved this show so much and Miss all three of them alot. Especially JCW because he really pulled out the character of Re-eul well and he looked so handsome in the robe and long hair.

To be honest, I’m too scared to even listen to the song for the 2nd time! I just finished watching the sound of magic and WOWWW! I really cried a lot. Not because of sadness but because it was so comforting. The casts were all great! This is my first time seeing Hwang In yeop for long and wow! He was really good! The female lead was also great! The way she cries and smiles, it feels so real! I really love how she conveyed Ah Yi! And most importantly, Ji CHANGWOOK!!!! This man is just so great!!!!!! I mean it!!! I couldn’t imagine anyone playing his role here! He could make viewers confuse of what he really is! Thumbs up for making this into a musical! You’re right, the feelings were conveyed better😭 The last performance was so comforting! Too comforting that it made me cry😭😭 I don’t think I’ll get to sleep now😭😭😭

And tbh i watched the drama bcz Ji ChangWook is one of my fav actor but overall i fell for the whole cast! And more importantly I learned so many things as a person as a girl who has become an adult, for me it is so hard to act like an adult honestly bcz since i was little i always had too many dreams and imagination, whenever i listen to music i imagine a scenario in my head & i end up doing things i do in my imagination in real life LMAO like Inhyeop did... so being this kid who always believes in magical stuff if being asked to grow up and make a living, honestly I wanna stay as a child and be taken care of because when i was a little child i wanted to grow up fast but not anymore, i wanna stay as a child believing the things i always believed! I absolutely loved this drama!!!! I really really love how the drama covers mental health and what being a student is really like especially when the competition has become so tough. And I really really love the message of the show.. It's not about how successful you are Or how luxurious and easy live you have.. The ultimate question is what kind of an adult yoh want to be? What kind of a person you want to be. And the pressure of fitting in is all too familiar. It's really really difficult to deal with it when conformity is expected to be the baseline. And to combine the fantasy of the show with music was a fantastic call!!!! One really cannot express wonder and boundless imagination in anyway better than a song. The actors really brought the characters to life! Really this drama is one of the best I've ever watched!!! Gonna be feeling magical for days hehehehe
