I have not seen anyone singing Kishore da's songs better than Amit. Maybe because it's in his genes, he grew up watching his dad sing those melodious songs every day and that too in the company of such great legends like RD Burman and other great music composers of that golden era of INDIAN music.
Amit Kumar is a great entertainer. He always tell us beautiful stories about his great father, Kishore Kumar and his associates like Sachin da and Pancham da etc. Live long dear Amit Kumar...
This song is one of the best songs in composition of S.D.Burman Dada based on western music sung by Kishore Kumar, lyric by Majurooh from the film Jewel Thief. Thank you Amit Kumar. K.Kumar.
Not agree, his yodelling very poor comparising with Great Kishore Kumar, partcular in this matter Sanu, vinod rathod and others are more better than Amit Kumar..His pronunciations very close to his father but not yodelling.
It was recorded in Mohammad Rafi's voice earlier for Gurudutt's movie "Baharen phir bhi aayegi" but then used in the movie Jewel Thief in Kishore da's voice...
Bridge on the River Kwai was a 1957 award-winning Hollywood film. Amitji remembers the year correctly. The interesting thing about that film is that the Bridge in the film (which gets blown off in the climax scene) was built by Larsen & Toubro, my alma mater ! I am very proud of my association with L&T, and this song is my favourite too.
not so good due to family problems and ageing he has lost his voice tone, pitch, etc, i didnt feel that originality in his voice har samai ghar mai jhagra se aisa ho jata hai awaaj sahi se ga nhi pate...😮😮😮😮😮😢😢😢😢
Got bored and irritated all these stories by Amit everytime. What singer he is? Kishore ke naam par absolutely "kalank" hai saala. Naseeb hai ki shore kaa beta.
