Matchbox actually made a version inspired by Hopper's car a few years ago. They labeled it Matchbox Police Department, because it wasn't licensed, but they numbered it unit 11 on top.

Absolutely fantastic. Love the two tone paint. Painting the lights, grill, taillights and turn signals are such a nice touch. And to finish it off - the decals are great! Always top notch work. Love what you do!

Really cool. I still have the same Blazer from my childhood. Most of my childhood cars are gone but this one has stayed with me. I vaguely remember my childhood crush (I was about 8, she was in High School) giving it to me for my birthday.

Whaaat a difference! Looks soo cool what you made out of it! I liked the music part in the beginning which were kinda fitting to the 80s synth style of stranger things.

Looks great, maybe some other cars from the series like the creepy power company vans in the future!

This was such a cool looking truck. I am and have always been a fan of Matchbox since I was a kid back in the 70's. Matchbox/Lesney always had some unique features that Hot Wheels didn't. Now I also loved Hot Wheels as well but the Matchbox cars had better suspension, a more detailed interior design, and some had some crazy looking castings. With some having huge tires. But their licensed models have ALWAYS seemed to look better, more realistic, and have had more details than others mainline car models. The 70's & 80's had some incredible die-cast models that I WISH I still had. I miss those days. A simpler time, with better quality items, better toys and games, food that tasted so much better, and movies and television that didn't have agendas and political issues thrown at you constantly. Granted the technology was nothing compared to what we have today, but honestly we were outside mostly anyway, and our imaginations was more than enough to keep us entertained. Sorry for the "flashback", but whenever I see these classic or retro toys, games, or movies/TV, I get nostalgic. Great video as always. Your dedication to your work is awesome and it really shows in your work. Every car you do looks amazing and if it's a recreation of say a Movie or a television show's counterpart, it's always done extremely well and as close to perfection as you can get. 5/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I guess this means you've also done a recreation of chief Brody's car from Jaws. Hopper's blazer was modeled on chief Brody's blazer. Looks terrific either way though! Very appropriate music for the still shots at the end too. Also the warning lights on the top of an emergency vehicle at least to the United States are called a "light bar."

Funny, my wife and I just binge watched Stranger Things over the last couple of weeks.

I saw what you did there,deliberately hiding the police light bar until the final reveal. The lights are a lil' bit lop-sided,'coz of the whole glass piece bein' a lil' bent. But the lights came out awesome. I always wondered how I was ever gonna get realistic l👀kin' police lights on my Police cars - & Now I know: - Transparent paint. I've always had a thing for Police Cars. 👌

You should do the Hawkins Power and Light van next followed by the police cars. Fortunately, Greenlight has made the Dodge Diplomat which is the same type of police car in the show.
