Making Orange Patchouli Cold Process Soap 

I've become a fan of Patchouli. First, it was the fragrance of Patchouli Rain. I used a bar that I made once and people stepped up and said I smelled great. Then I started hearing about the mix of orange and patchouli and I thought, mmmm that combination sounds great. I know there is an orange patchouli fragrance out there, but I happened to have some Patchouli Rain, not enough to made a batch of soap. Additionally, I had some orange essential oil. I mixed a trial combo in a little jar and, mmmmmm, it smelled wonderful.
I know that the issue of patchouli is its pungency, so I added a touch of Royal B and warm vanilla and the result is a warm, beautiful fragrance with a softer and kinder patchouli.
If you've watched the last few videos you'll know that I'm on a drop swirl kick. For inspiration, I looked back at my first version of my Shower Scene soap. I wanted share color distinction and the almost teardrop swirls that I love. This video shows how I get the contrasts and fluid movements in the overall design that result from one color falling into another.
There are two more soaps and videos that I have already made that will need some editing before Vibrant Soap goes into hibernation for a while until the move to Portugal. We need time to resettle. I'll need to learn about the local regulations, suppliers and also weight for my equipment to arrive, hopefully safe and sound and not impacted by the clogged shipping channels.
Remember that I will not completely disappear. The idea is to morph into a travel adventure vlog and get back into my painting and other creative modes.
