Ikr like I gotta tear off those paper things you sometimes put on walls (I ain't English native speaker, don't know how it's called) that have PAINT on them, then clean the walls and what not and then first repaint it. Then comes a whole bunch of other stuff (some furniture among other things) to buy/bring/put together and place and hang and then sorting out my stuff like clothes, books and everything else (I've already started it but I want to repeat the process once the general room make over is done). I would be so happy if i could finish it in a week. But well, I'm doing a complete make over and she just pretty much repainted one wall and rearranged some stuff hanging. But if she didn't feel well in that space before, I'm happy for her now.

I practically grew up in home depot too! some of my favorite memories are of my dad & I going there every weekend for some project he was planned 😊 (I also know exactly what you’re talking about w the floors, so slippery!)

It's beautiful to see how you and your dad collaborate on projects. Same is the case with my father, he likes doing most of the fixing and mending in the house himself. One thing you can add to your already pretty room is may be a touch of wall decal with trees or a sky view window wall decal. It will work wonders in a room like yours.

Sharing some info :) bedrooms require windows for egress, to escape in case of a fire. Likely the room was meant to be for storage, but ended up being used as a bedroom.

At 6:12 when you were talking about how that store is your dad's fav and how you did turns in the isles I could not relate more. That was my childhood over the weekends we would have dad and daughter days and we would always go there and I was in ballet at the time and did all these turns and messed around with stuff. Can I just say how much I appreciate how respectful you are towards your father. I would never leave a nasty comment on a video but I have watched so many room transformation videos where girls just boss their dads around and are so rude to them even though they are HELPING them. That is so true, but it's also easy to decorate your walls with your own drawings and paintings from art class (which is what I did), which is free! I decorated my apartment using things I found at garage sales, the dollar store, and Goodwill, as well as my own artwork! I've also put magazine clippings on the wall before as decoration--and you can spray paint a bulletin board...put up posters....put up cards or pictures friends give you....get a calendar for $1 at Dollar Tree....some of these things cost a little bit of money, but there are ton of cool ways to decorate your room for cheap!

Please make a video about decorating your loft, and would you ever consider sleeping in there? Like just sticking a mattress in there so your bedroom is a dressing room or walk-in closet? When hubby and I moved into our apartment, our bedroom was orange, and the bathroom was like a blue grey color. We got permission from the landlord to paint both rooms whatever color we wanted, so we chose beige, that was in October 2015. In November 2018, I painted the bedroom white to help with my anxiety, and it's been a life changer.

Im really disturbed that your dont have a window in your room but roor room looked beautiful even before the makeover. Plus why do u have 2 beds just use the loft bed. I have had the same purple room since 2nd grade and now im in sixth grade. i regret chosing such a dark colour. but my dad siad i will have to wait till 8th grade.
