The nesting trays you called market baskets are actually called trugs. They're used in the garden to gather flowers or vegetables. That is probably why they had water stains. I love your videos and step-by-step instruction you give.

shelac use to be made with petrol but now a days these varnishes are all plastic base and spraying or brushing on these shelac varnishes really do prevent any paint applied after from adhearing properly if any thing put the spray varnish shelac over the top of the paint not underneath

you are such a beautiful young lady, and so talented!!!! i love to watch what you do to the thrift items. and i love to learn tips and things from you, too. you repaired a chicken comb with some sort of glue, and want to share that i repair things, too, however, i have not heard of the glue that you use. i repair with spackle that i get ate walmart or paint store. i do not thrift and flip, but i do find things that need repair and i fix broken vases and planters b/c i make the floral arrangements for my church and have a very limited budget, (mine)!!!! i love to paint the vases and planters, too. one thing i know of to use on items with "bleed-through" is Kilz. do you use Kilz for bleed-through? i dont know about many of the products that you use b/c i am not in the business as you are. can you tell me how to paint glass and keep the paint from chipping off when the item is handled? does it need to be sealed and with what? i love all of the things that you do. dont paint any wooden item that is oak. oak is a beautiful wood, plus, not much oak is used now b/c 'they' dont grow oak trees anymore as 'they' grow pine. i love oak. thank you for everything you do, show and teach us who watch. koko

thank you for sharing your chip fix technique with me. We use shellac for bleed through. We can find it Kilz with if in and I personally don't want to order it online. Keep doing what your doing💝
