I want to make a low-cost safe looking flame using a plastic bag and a fan. In the video I go through what works but I also go through the process that it took to be able to make something that wasn’t working. The design process requires that you fill your way forward. Some people think that the word fail is a bad. If our founders of our country took this attitude we wouldn’t have the innovation that we enjoyed today. Bravery is a necessity and failure is part of that bravery.

I wanted to make smaller caldron size so I think I'm gonna try this with some of those battery operated personal fans. Thanks for the simple straight forward diy! I'm off!!!👍🎃💖

what if, instead of covering all the fan, you let about half a inch of the fan on the exterior part of the plastic bag, this will let some air flowing around the exterior part of the bag and lift the branches that fall

Should try using parchment paper. Plus it comes in different colors. You can get assorted colors in one pack for the same price or cheaper than a can of spray paint.
