It doesn't matter what the video consists of, when I see you post anything it brings me joy. I love your humor and goofy way you go about life in general. Everyone could stand to learn a simple lesson from you... life isn't that serious, smile, laugh, and just enjoy yourself no matter what. Everyone makes mistakes. Just learn from them and use that knowledge to improve. Keep up the incredible work Nick! You help so many of us without ever even knowing it!
Three years ago I was diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure. So being unable to work I got very depressed. My life felt over. My wife was watching one of your videos and looked at me and said that I should try to do something like that. So I saw one of your videos for the first time. The more I watched the more encouraged I felt. The fact that your projects don't always turn out as planned was actually very inspirational to me. I look forward to your videos and really would like to thank you for all you do. You videos became something that I held onto when I felt I was drowning in my sadness. You are an inspiration to many people and I thank you very much. So I have decided to try my hand at making things. No videos or anything just stuff to get me out of the house and moving more. Again thank you sir!
Thanks for that Paul. Nick helped you and you helped me. See how that works! Hang in there buddy, keep moving and stay positive. Nick is far more valuable to us than he realizes.
I broke my back 10 years ago and went from making a three figure income to disability payments. I absolutely know how you feel about the depression. I got into woodworking and pallet wood projects to get me going again.
I became "officially" disabled where I couldn't work anymore almost 7 years ago at age 44. I think I pretty much slept my first year out. It's such a huge change going from working 50+ hours a week and traveling internationally for work to...nothing. It definitely screws with your head. I've always loved art and making/building things but was now physically and financially limited. Two years ago, I started out doing paint by numbers and diamond paintings. This summer I decided to try painting (with just my "talent") and resin art. I've fallen in love with resin art! Nick is one of my favorite RU-vidrs and I would love to learn how to use a lathe but doubt that'll happen so I'll just keep enjoying making my smaller items and living vicariously through Nick with his art! He definitely is a bright light in my day.
Thank you Paul and I wish you and the family all the very best . I appreciate this message and I’m so glad I can help in some way it makes me feels really good inside . Have a fab Christmas mate take care ❤❤❤
What makes your channel so good is that not all projects turn out perfect every time, unlike other channels, which are edited to make viewers think they got it right first time. Happy Christmas Nick and to your family.
"It's not a Zammeti project without a leak." 😂 I love how humble you are. Admitting that you could use our ideas. You are definitely the best. Btw, I hope you didn't end up in the dog house for using those stilettos. 😂
You're creative and you show us that messing up is ok. Also, your channel is usually lighthearted, which is what a lot of us need these days. Keep being who you are and doing what you love!
I really appreciate that you show both the good and bad parts of processes! A lot of creators don't show the realistic bits where you know they had to struggle with something, and it gives people a false sense of ease with projects that they might try themselves. Keep on keeping on, Nick! And I hope your holidays are fantastic!
I love all of your projects Nick. What you do IS RELEVANT! It gives so many people joy I am so glad you are continuing with your awesome, psychedelic, videos. I laugh so hard at your idioms along with your facial impressions. We love you Nick! Hugs :)
I absolutely love, love, love the stiletto. It’s glorious. I really don’t think a pair was needed. Also, I’m thrilled that you have decided to continue your channel and show the rest of us who are so very less talented how to overcome self doubts. A very Merry Christmas to all.
Do the old Mold pieces actually melt into the new mixture? If not don’t they trap air causing bubbles.? Looking forward to seeing the way you do this and how Mrs Zammeti will exact her revenge! At least you can reuse the reused Mold stuff to make the next version.
Hope you had a great Xmas & you got lots of new gadgets so we can see you make things. HappyNew Year. Let’s hope it is heck of a lot better than this one.❤
This is an amazing idea! So I have a (hopefully helpful) idea to add if you decide to retry this later on! Instead of putting the whole shoe into the mold and prying it out- I think you should try setting the shoe (Or whatever you decide to use later) only HALFWAY into the mold and make a literal half mold of the shoe- then do the other side on a separate mold so you can put the 2 molds together after you are done for a complete solid shoe mold that you can tape together and set (make sure to have a box they can fit real snug in and maybe a couple holes in the bottom of the shoe mold (put it in the pressure pot upside-down for the shoe since there is more room for it to air out on the sole and heel) then when they are done you should be able to just pull the halves safely apart with a much more complete shoe with the impurities being mostly on the sole since it was upside-down. I hope this helps for if you retry this again!
All your channel needs to survive is your funkadelic attitude. Your personality is the glue that brings all of us here. Keep on waffling and being your awesome self.
I had a hard day at work today , and I was reminded that it's okay to make mistakes sometimes. We're only human, after all. Your videos and boundless energy and funkadelic personality always bring a smile to my face. My day always gets a little better when you post a video, keep trying your best, and give a realistic view of the trials and triumphs of resin crafting, and keep making awesome projects!
That is the fastest I have ever received a RU-vid notification - less than a minute since posting. Love your videos Nick. Please keep on doing what you do. I always enjoy watching what you create.
It looks amazing! I'm glad you show us the oops as well as the result. I think making molds of crazy things might be an interesting series! PS. Mould release!
Even if you classify the first shoe as a "failure", failure makes you human and the rest of us humans enjoy whatever we're blessed to get from you!! Thank you for all the work, expense and effort you put into your channel for us to enjoy! Hope you continue to find enjoyment and worth in it too! Merry Christmas and God Bless!!
It's not only the end product that matters, although it's always a lovely item, it's the process taking place and all your funny comments on what you're making that's making this channel absolutely worthy to watch.
Honestly... the one thing I really love, over the many years of watching these videos, when things go wrong... the video keeps going. I saw the errors coming long before the first unmolding. 1 shoe at a time... paint them good so its not rough. Not like you can call out and save the day. 😄 I still love it. Not to mention when someone with loads of money worries about costs. hehe. Want a show, its going to cost something.
Nick! What a great job! What a beautiful shoe! Thank you for sharing all the ups and downs. I personally love that you show us the reality of the project. Have a very Merry Christmas and an amazing New Year! Thank you for sticking it out with us and for us!
Merry Christmas to you and yours Nick. I will reiterate what many others have said and let you know that your channel, content, and personality mean so much to so many of us that it’s hard to imagine not being able to see your antics in new content. You’ve made me realize that it’s not always about getting it right the first time, it’s about not giving up and seeing it through, and doing it with dignity, grace, and humor. (I bet you didn’t realize that your videos are are actually life lessons). I would personally like to see you do some more how to videos even if you’ve already done some on whatever subject you’ve chosen. Please keep making us smile!
Always love seeing Nicks videos, but especially after your thinking of leaving RU-vid, I’m super excited to see so many! Cool video, and I love your persistence.
Please don't go anywhere Nick! You are an amazing creator and I look forward to watching you create! You're one of the few that shows the good, bad and ugly of your projects! I would love to see you get a bit more creative and get back to some more wood turning and doing bigger projects again but no matter what you do I will always watch because you're an amazing person and creator! Keep up the good work!
I enjoy your projects and i’m glad that you leave the errors in so if we were to run across similar issues we know how to fix it… as far as entertainment goes… you are the entertainment… u Your channel is informative but very fun… ty… Blessings Nick to you and yours…
Totally loved this project! If you're not making mistakes you're not learning. Some of the projects I love the most are the ones you struggle with making. Whether you succeed or fail you always take us on that journey. You create lovely pieces of artwork. Have a wonderful holiday season and keep on waffling.🥰
Omg you made them. You actually made them. I can't believe you made them. I have been waiting for someone to make them for years and years. I have requested them for sooo long. You made them. Wow. Thank you.
I LOVE the shoe and I feel your pain at trying to mold something like this. I've done it and it was EVENTUALLY pretty, although I failed more times than you did. This was a brilliant project, Nick and it came out great! I'll send you an email with how I finally managed to do this in case you ever feel masochistic and want to try again. ;-) Happy Christmas, Nick!
Perseverance pays off! Cinderella's Stiletto is Very Cool! Your sound effects while you were pulling the 2nd shoe out of mold had me dying 🤣 Sure other channels may do same type projects sometimes, but they Don't do it like you! Love ya Nick & Happy Christmas & a Happy, Healthy, Prosperous New Year to you & your family!
love it, such a fun project! Suggestion for you. Maybe when making the mold (or a mold of any other complex shape) you could use some sort of divider that could go around the object and bisect it so the mold removal would be more clean and easier? Im thinking some sort of plastic sheeting that is rigid enough to hold shape but thin enough to not affect the shape desired. And include some pegs in the divider that could be used to line the mold halves back up when you are ready to pour the resin? Im probably overthinking the heck out of this, but Its worth a thought
Nick, I appreciate that you always fight your way through to the end. The project could even be a complete failure, but you fight until there is nothing left, and that is encouraging. Through all of it, you learn and so do we. Merry Christmas to you and yours!
Everytime I see you upload a new video I click it instantly, I've been watching you for years and I love everything your channel has to offer. Ur wit, goofiness and brilliant ideas are endless
Nick, your videos always bring a smile to my day. Seeing your ups and downs, the trial and error, the failures and the successes, they all make your content uniquely yours! I love listening to you waffle about, talk out your thought process, and share your passion with us. You're a wonderful and unique guy, and I'm so glad to have found your channel. I can definitely credit you for my budding interest in resin craft and turning. I've learned so many things just from watching you share your workflow and thought process, it's bonkers! Mad love brother, and Happy Christmas!
I wish I knew when I was making candles using liquid molds, that I could reuse the chunks. I was thinking WOW it looks like a Cinderella show and then you said it. Love it! Was Mrs.Nick happy about the missing shoes? Happy, Merry, blessed Christmas Nick and family love your work and as always lots of love 💕
Thank you. I would do a 2 part mold. I do them on resin fishing lures but you can do anything. Easy plus you can reuse the mold for more casts. Been a wood turner 20+ years. Your videos have got me through some tough medical times. I watched your videos when in the hospital many times. I can not express just how much you entertain me and so many others around the world. Thank you
Loved the video, but then i always like your videos. The black pumps looked like nice shoes and i kept thinking ‘uh oh’. I like that you show the things that work out perfectly but also the ones that don’t go as planned. You always figure out something and i think that’s what a lot of people like about you. Merry Christmas!
The shoe is beautiful 😍❤️ I love ALL of your videos and watch every one to the end and ALWAYS feel sad that there isn't more. Yours is my FAVORITE channel. You are the ONLY maker that I watch ( well, and Charlie, too). Your videos really help to cheer me up and I would just be lost without them in my life. I've seen every video that you have made...most more than once... some dozens of times. Thank you Nick ...PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASEEEEEEE DON'T EVER STOP MAKING VIDEOS!!!! WE NEED YOU!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Love it! Since you're asking for ideas, ladybugs are fun. Turned wood ones or resin ones or one that light up or a little diorama village of them. I loved the table with the knomes!
I agree with the person who said this one is brilliant. I've no clue how you come up with your ideas but this one is one of my favourites because of the inventiveness, time and effort you put into it.
Don’t quit posting videos. I love your projects, and on top of that you make it very entertaining too. Your channel is the most realistic one out their, because you let use see the good and the bad, and you seem to alway and a little humor in with it.
I love all your videos. You always brighten up all my days!!! It doesn’t matter what you make, everything you make always makes me smile!! Thank you very much!! Don’t ever leave us!!!😊🎉❤
Ooh, great idea! Do a series where you ask us to chose between set options on how a project goes! What I really enjoy is seeing someone with all the tools, and space, that I don’t have do stuff I would like to do, then maybe I give it a go on a smaller scale. This was brill and defo needs a revisit! Maybe do each show in 2 halves?
It"s not what you do, it s how you do it with style! Don't get caught in the "gotta make bigger and better" trap that burns out too many RU-vidrs. Just keep turning out beautiful stuff with panache You are the content. Even a field trip to another maker studio to shoot the breeze with someone would be fun! Just keep on being you... the guy who kept us sane thru Covid with your humor!
What a fun project and educational opportunity! The end product is also gorgeous, so that helps. I’m sorry you’re struggling with self doubt. It can make things that should be relaxing and fun feel pointless or stressful, but you’re up and doing and powering through the missteps to make something beautiful. I can’t think of much that’s more inspirational than that. Thanks for all you do!
Greetings from Chicago. This project was so "out of the box". I love it! This is the season of joy and this video (like all of your videos) spreads joy and good cheer. Thank you, Nick, for all you do. You and your channel are gifts that keep on giving. I hope with ALL my heart that you never ever stop sharing your wonderfully mad genius with the world. Merry Christmas and a safe and prosperous New Year to you and yours.
Thank you for showing all the struggles. So many videos make their crafting/making look so easy. They don't show the trial and error. Thanks for the realism and funky videos.
You and your dreams are worth saving. Always. Each of us are a guide to those who come after. It's ok to make mistakes. It's how we grow. You are simply amazing, and I love you man. You are loved!!!! Now you just have to be ok with loving yourself. You are worthy.
Love that no matter how daunting the task or the set backs along the way, you always stick with it and get it done. Turned out pretty well in the end, even if it was just the one shoe. Have a great Christmas Nick and see you in the new year
Dude, I don't care if you post a video of a dancing bananna and a non-copywrighted song on loop for an hour. Your videos makes me laugh and I can forget about the world and my problems for just a little bit.
Love the Cinderella shoe and all the effort and patience you have too. Is there a possibility to reattach the wire to get it to work? Also maybe try putting two pieces of plastic sheeting together in the middle of a mould and then when it sets you can pull it apart more easier. Love watching every creative thing you make, and Merry Christmas to you and your family.
He could try adding some solder to the damaged part of the wire, add a layer of uv resin and paint that section silver to hide the patch job. Not sure if it'll work but worth a shot if he ever wants to try and salvage the first one.
I personally don’t watch this channel for perfection. I absolutely love how you show the mistakes because we all make mistakes. The people who are putting out perfect work have probably practised it many times before they actually post a video. I come to your channel to laugh and enjoy and have fun.
You need to use a sealant when dealing with fabrics and other materials that absorb. Also for odd shaped projects, you should use a two part mold and a shell style mold to save a fortune
This Stiletto Lite up today on Christmas Eve is perfect! We love your projects, sense of humor, honesty and in general you are very positive, because you always fine a way to overcome your obstacles! In this world of negativity, that's rear, your a breath of fresh air! That you for all the work you do in providing a positive space to relax and enjoy the great programming you offer! Thank You So Very Much, Nick!
Looks like a favorite pair of stiletto's - is your wife aware of your little project or are we going to hear her reaction all the way over here in Canada? 🤣🤣
If at first you don't succeed, just give it another go! You made it work! Now who else would be crazy enough to think that something like this would work!? You are just the right amount of crazy for me! Love you, Nick! Take care!
I'll just add this here. Sorry I was so late. And I'll keep adding it when I see a video pop up for more inspiration 😄 I freaking love your content. Please don't leave. It actually inspires me to keep getting creative. Even if it is just during work. I look forward to seeing all your projects that are large and take a long time. And I appreciate even the small projects. While I'm pretty strapped for cash regularly I've wanted to purchase several of your pieces and been to the shop a number of times. The energy you produce and the enjoyment we see in your face while you do them always forces a smile on my face even during some of my hardest days. I work 3 jobs running a fencing business that has yet to take off after 3 years, I've been assembling, repairing, and delivering home goods just so we could have some income coming in, and I do doordash when we need a small amount of money quick. So I understand hardship and feeling like you want to quit. My fence building doesn't pay me much and it's my main focus of life and it doesn't recieve the attention I was hoping it would. So I get it when you say your concerned about your channel. Knowing that I'm in it with someone I like to watch really helps keep me motivated too. Call it a crutch LOL but I wish for you to do better too. In any case it would be really awesome to see resin weapons, (video games, or real)(original or spontanious)> IM PARTICULAR TO KINGDOM HEARTS < more dioramas, environments, original ideas like the guitars, and spectacular tables. I even like the bowl content. Maybe you could add even more wild designs, like curvature, making them wibbly wobbly, dragon scales, fish skin, metal textures. I'll be sure to start liking and sharing videos a little more to get the word out too. Keep it chipper and keep em coming☺️😋🤪
another beautiful project! and i love your waffling - it just cheers me up... depression is an invisible affliction, no one can SEE your pain but your fun chatter really lifts my spirits, and i'm willing to bet there are others out there who feel the same! please keep waffling on!!
I enjoy watching you actually think out of the box, and you make it very entertaining. It is an honor to watch you really as you are spending an exorbitant amount of money to create something we've never seen or would even dare to try good job
We love you Nick. Please take that in, and make it yours. :) You are fun and amazing, and you show us things that some of us wish we could try to do ourselves but we don't have time, space or money to do., You are appreciated and loved.
No doubt you are worthy. Your videos aways bring smiles n a warmth to our hearts. I at one time found one or two of your original videos what a difference you are now. No one works the way you can n do.
You can say your projects either or are perfect or even somewhere in between. All I know when I watch your videos is nothing but success!! You never cease to entertain me with the projects you come up with. I'm glad you always stay calm and waffle on!!! :)
I was feeling really crap this morning with a migraine on Christmas Eve. Then I have watched this video and it’s made me forget my melancholy a really turned my day around 🎉
You replied to a couple comments of mine a while back and it made my absolute year! Your videos are just absolutely amazing and I I'm always excited to see a new upload! Thank you for carrying on!
I love watching you figure things out, especially when it seems like it ain’t going to work and then you end up with something fun and badass at the end. Keep at it.
Hey Nick, I will be the first to admit that I don't watch everything you do. Not that I don't enjoy your videos, you are a funny dude and your videos are a joy to watch. When I first had aspirations of doing lots of projects, supply sponsorship, you know the lofty goals, it was your videos that I enjoyed the most. As the parent of a special needs individual, it is hard to keep up with life, let alone find time to mess around. I can't tell you the last time I was in my shop, but it is your videos that make me feel that I am going to be back in there at some point. Don't forget that you are an inspiration to a lot of people.
The fact that no matter what, you never give up, is a true inspiration to more people than I think you realize! We are out here, we are watching, and we truly admire and appreciate you for never giving up! It's a message for more than just projects!❤
I love you nick ❤❤❤ I work in a mail warehouse that sorts mail (by hand) parcels and everything everyone orders online and I’m so happy to see your videos when I come home they are so relaxing again I love you so much I really hope you don’t stop making videos all together but mental health, family and friends come first obviously but I must say watching you waffle about makes me smile and gives me so much joy
I love watching you mess up it gives me the inspiration I need to get in my shop and beat something out and seeing you persevere through whatever a project throws at you it’s great
Love anything you do because you make me smile. I would love to see some wood turning projects that mix with resin for some funky effects. Basically do what makes you happy and we will be happy to watch!
We like you! Not here for just what you make! You make us smile and laugh! And u do show us how you make things. Sometimes it works Sometimes it doesn't! But u still try! Sending love from Kentucky! ❤❤❤❤❤
Hey Nick, I'm one of your more silent subscribers. I don't usually comment on youtube, because normally I'm watching it through my Xbox. (I always give a like though!) Aside from that, I just wanted to tell you that I absolutely love your videos. Your pop culture references are always spot on. (I know what you mean. =P) I love watching the process of how things are done, even when you have a failed project. I always look forward to your videos. I hope you continue to keep your channel. Honestly, the only other resin making channel I watch was the one you suggested (Positve Couple) back a few years ago. And as a crafter myself, (I loom knit and recently started to make jewelry) I understand that finding inspiration isn't always easy. I feel that that is what makes your videos so much fun to watch, because of the funky stuff you come up with! I can tell that you put a lot of thought and effort into your videos. Depression and anxiety tend to wear us down making us constantly question ourselves, but know this, your hard work and passion is beautiful. (Yes, even the failures, because you're still creating something new.) Anyway, that's enough gabbing from me, have a very Merry Christmas and God Bless.
Oh my goodness! I loooove this project! I want one so much. This would be a highly marketable product. Different colors, lights no lights, maybe some resin accents attached after the main piece is formed. Spectacular!
theres no such thing as better content when you are involved because every video you make is just amazing because you enjoy doing what you do and i enjoy watching every one of your videos so do what you enjoy and upload what you want because ill watch them either way
When I heard you weren't going to make any more videos, I became a little distraut. I'm so glad you have decided to stick around and grace us with you comedic videos. Now with that being said, I love the upside down clock in the shop. Keep up the great work, and do what makes you happy.
Your videos haven't been showing up on my suggestions lately and it Nevers sends me notifications anymore. I'm glad i was scrolling along and finally saw this video! Hopefully they'll keep putting you in my suggestions, I have followed you for quite a while and I LOVE your videos! No matter what you make, I just love watching the process and you always bring me so much joy. I hope you never quit!
I just love watching you do your thing. You're hilarious. I actually like it when you fail because it makes it a totally unique video, and I like how you deal with your hold-ups and failures.
Please take care of yourself first. We are second fiddle to your happiness. I speak for many when I say we throughly enjoy the videos you put out. Take care and we will be here to watch and support you.
This is the kind of diy content youtube needs. You showed your mistakes/failures but then you persevere and keep going. If it doesn't go the way you planned then you either start over or take what you have and make something else. These are life lessons everyone needs to learn. I've been a subscriber since the early days and I still love your channel.
