Nice..mine showed up today..knocked out a power tube..lol..thing has some sting..as mentioned the look the build is Top Knotch...the tone has mucho mojo on the basic settings..funny the manual is one page and it's a picture..i think as Rabea facial contribution may apply it may bee beeyond explanation ..lol..so far I love it the fuzz tone is perfect..the added stuff will take some figuring out but it's not impossible ..lol..Hey I've been stung Thanks for this.
That's the craziest pedal I've ever heard you play through. Yes, one of the first things that comes to mind is using it to create a signature open for a song.
At around 13:10 the first thing that popped into my head was "I bet Megalovania would sound pretty thick and memey with these settings". Alas, we'll never know.
I've just finished watching Josh from JHS pedals doing a '10 Most Weird Pedals' show, and this surely qualifies! What an amazing set of effects in one place - trouble is, if you write a song including this in the song, and you perform said song, where does the show go from there?! Do you continue with the 'weird' theme, or do you return to odd time signatures and clean baritone tones? Just a thought...
I wonder how many of your fans watching this saw the cheeky hysteria bass riff going on? Sounds sweet though! Can't wait to see you in Toska at Download!
next time someone asks you what you do for a living, just tell them you are a beekeeper. I ordered the swarm... wish my skill level was at yours, but I will make the most of it. thx for show casing this pedal...
Holy hell that thing looks and stunning killer! have you tried it through the kemper yet? would be interesting to see how it reacts with some profiles!
Really surprised nobodies made the connection to the EQQ Data Corrupter or Mantix Flex.... this is a cool pedal and i love beetronics but this isnt the first PLL, not even the first in recent years. Either way, great demo!
The part around 12-13 minutes when it sounded like fuzz+POG was okay. The rest of it was... meh! You did a great job on the demo but it’s not for me I’m afraid. It is well named 👍
How would you use a sound like that in a live situation? What kinda band.. what genre? I personally think it sounds crap. Some of their other pedals are great. I own 2
I mean, I’d use this in a glitchy weird section of a tune where everything sounds a bit unhinged Or it could be an intro riff tone before it breaks into a fatter version, or could be a mid eight break tone for the same purpose etc. There’s a bunch of applications for these kinds of sounds in music. Bands wise a lot of alternative rock, prog rock, indie, heavier genres, less metal, think more out there guitar sounds. Like I think, Asymmetry Karnivool tones or fall of Troy or Mars Volta etc etc. Just weird and cool bands
@@RabeaMassaad yes, I get your drift. I guess I was thinking of genres like rock, soul, blues, funk etc etc. I guess all sounds have a place somewhere in music - just not for the music im into Rabea. Ive got the Fat Bee and the Octahive - and I love em! Superb pedals; just not this one for me.
Lol. I am not the biggest fuzz fan either, I actually kinda despise it...although, light fuzz into a dirty amp can sound AMAZING. Check the new Wetter Box video from Pete Thorn. Its also not the first time I've heard Pete use fuzz in a sick tone. Ya really gotta hear the Wetter demo though...just gorgeous
It does sound appropriate at 12:28 if you didn't make it that far. Very 8 bit in a good way. Bea seemed to have gotten more of a handle on it from that point on IMO. Listen to the Wetter Box tone though...ridiculous transparent parallel fx loop pedal...I need one
