Making Sawmill Lumber For An Old Farm Trailer

Bought a 2 wheel farm trailer off of marketplace. Milled some white oak boards for the deck on our 1930 Foley Belsaw circle mill. Put on new tires, packed the bearings and test drove it.
Used tractor grapple, chainsaw, Foley Belsaw M-14 circle sawmill. Triple T Ranch & Sawmill on Choctaw Ridge is homesteading with a sawmill & anvil.

Trailer came out great! Definitely need a few more HP on the sawmill. That's something to be proud of. Keep making sawdust!

Man, that's some good looking oak that come out of that log !! Yeah, once sawed, they give up the moisture pretty quick. You really made some nice improvements to the trailer....That little guy will probably be dragging it around the woods 40 years from now !! Fun video my friend....but boy I couldn't help but notice the Case chugging pretty good with some of those passes.

Thanks for watching! Trying to find a power unit 50HP or better. Kinda tired of blade getting hot and have to shut down. Not a problem with that frontier of yours!

@@TripleTRanchAndSawmill Hahahaha....its nice, but there's just something about running a circle mill that can't be replaced by a bandsaw. That chunk of oak would've made my little 13 1/2 hp motor grunt a bit too !! Btw, I'll be putting my Belsaw on the market in the spring, if you happen to know some body looking.
