Wow it could be useful as a pigment for paper art. If done properly. It is probably a little less toxic due to the solubility. Oh never heat it as a solution.
How do you clean this up? There isn't much info on silver dichromate (at least not on wikipedia or pubchem, or some other sites I look at). I haven't done this yet, so im not sure what solvent you would use to clean it up at the end (off the glassware etc). Since it precipitates out of water, you would probably use something nonpolar? Chlorinated solvents? Hydrocarbons?
Silver dichromate has little use on it's own, but tetrakis(pyridine)silver dichromate, which is prepared in a similar manner along side pyridine has applications in organic chemistry
