This is fantastic! Something about sawmilling that brings almost instant gratification because you see what you make come alive right in front of you! That ash turned out nice, thanks for another great video!

I just cut down 65 yr old ash mist was rotting. I want to use part of the tree for a false beam cover. How long should I let this tree sit before I make it in to boards? Thank you. Very nice mill.

Nice my friend I did get my mill, I was telling you w awhile back, but with my mother’s illness I haven’t ever unpacked it, it’s so hard seeing it sit there and I have a ton of logs to cut but God knows the plan, nice wood😊

The cathedral figure in that ash is awesome. I milled a white pine that my friend gave me. I got some nice 1x11 1/4 boards out of that.

I love the tone and feel of ash. Sounds like you got some real nice wood to work with.

Hi Dillion thanks for sharing your passion with us, I to enjoy working with wood. I’ve been out of the loop a few months when did you get the trailer package? Do you prefer it over the stationary set up? Full time sawyer thats awesome congrats!

I got the trailer package about 9 months ago. I definitely like it much more than the stationary setup. I can easily move the mill to any spot I want on my property. I am slowly developing our land, so being able to kove it is very helpful. Thanks! I'm loving it!

If you pop by this fall, don't let me forget to discuss trees with you. I have a 3 ft wide ash that needs to go, among others (ashes / elms mostly)

Oh! Please save them! I would love to mill those!

I'm figuring I'll get them cut next year... no worries it's not disappearing any time soon ;) You'll be the first to know.
