Thank you for sharing with us all. I would agree that many are having a difficult time right now and sometimes that causes stress which can lead to quick tempers and fighting. Sharing your beautiful work helps to bring more happiness to the world. It always makes me smile to watch you work and see what you create. 💗
Thank you, for yet ANOTHER amazing easy video. I venture away from your videos from time to time but I always come right back. Thank you for always making it seem so easy. You're the reason I gained the confidence to start my first cane a few months ago. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
So lovely to see a video from you! I think you are right, it is a difficult time for so many of us. Thank you for sharing your talent with us all, and for brightening our days with this beautiful sunflower! 🌻🌻🌻
I never tire of watching your amazing artistry! I love sunflowers too, I have a small pot of them on my window sill that I started from a kit late in the season. They actually bloomed but they're quite small compared to the larger varieties. I never realized until recently how many varieties there are! Thanks for another great tutorial!
Happy sunflowers. Always a good choice when going into the winter months, always make ya happy. These turned awesome love them. Tfs hugs, and always happy thoughts. 😀
The sunflower cane turned out amazing! Sunflowers are one of my favorite flowers. The middle part reminded me a little of honeycomb and I can see it being adapted for making honeycomb canes.
Thank's for the great video 👍🏻. I love sunflowers It's so nice to stand next to a field full of sunflowers and watch them. They always turn their heads towards the sun and even "sleep" at night 😀. You should take a vacation 🏖️, because you don't just live to work. Best regards from Germany🌻
Thanks for watching! I seldom actually see sunflowers. I never knew that sunflowers sleep :) Perhaps he bows his head at night? haha As you said, I'm resting a lot more than usual. I need to recharge😄
@@clayzoo It is exactly like that. Sunflowers "fold" their petals together at night and hang their heads. We had a lot of fields with sunflowers this summer. For a while there was no more sunflower oil to buy and so a lot of it was grown. I wish you a nice day. Best regards from Germany 🌻.
Thank you so much! I love this....yes, I know about burn out...good for you for overcoming it-it takes time. Thank you for sharing this beautiful step by step tutorial.
I think sunflower cane is the hardest to imitate because of the sheer detailing that goes into making the center and then getting the gradients right. ❤️❤️❤️ U should start selling bags with pins, those would be so cool 😎
thanks :) The next video will make sunflowers for complete beginners. I participated in a flea market (art market) a few days ago and have been selling. haha
Beautiful flower. It’s good to take a break. When I wrap my canes in translucent I put a very thin layer of white along the outer edges. This brightens up the translucent
The camera is so clear! The flower is very nice! I've used Fimo effect translucent before and it was too sticky, I could not even use it the clay machine because it clogged it up, is your fimo effect that sticky? What can be done? This is very nice that even though we speak different languages that technology or Google overcame this barrier
I'm glad there is a real google translator. It's not perfect, but everyone in the world can talk. fimo translucent clay is more sticky than other types of fimo. You should check the room temperature where you are working. If it is above 24 degrees Celsius, you need to lower the temperature :) And it has changed its properties to be less sticky than the old translucent clay.
I really liked that you showed us what the sunflower means in your country. I'm from Scotland and only know of the thistle. Lol. I think your cane turned out lovely, regardless of what the middle is like.💜
Burnout happens, but it can be good to take a break! And owning up to mistakes in the creative practice is good - it reminds us that they happen, but that you can still enjoy and learn from the process.
thank you :) Buttons that are too small are difficult to use because the clay strength is weak. If it is a little big and thick, you can make it with a button.
@@clayzoo No way, don’t think that way. Ppl will subscribe voluntarily, they just need to be reminded and you want ppl to subscribe and like your videos so the algorithms will give your videos more visibility. Asking ppl to help your videos get more views and ppl will respond.
Oh yikes.. You do so much. I know your videos aren't something you just wing out there. You put a lot into each one. So much appreciated.. but.. it's time to take a break. you need it, you deserve it. Just don't clay for a while. Maybe paint something if you're feeling creative.. or go to a park and meet some dogs or read. There's no time limit on how long to break.; You will know. I started painting again.. (old furniture) and it was a real joy to come back to clay. Be nice to yourself. please. We all understand. I know you posted this a while ago.. but take some time off anyway. Thank you for all you do.
