Great tutorial! I have many t-shirts and now know how to tackle the cutting. Making balls seems so much easier for storing than (yikes) more worms!

Thank you so much for such an interesting video and demonstration. Have you ever tried using fleece to hook with?

I have used fleece - i can't pinpoint an exact video where I use fleece, but I know I have in some of the videos. I love using it! : )

Have you tried using recycled acrylic fabric as strips? I'm a newbie to hooking :)

Sorry for the delay in my reply - you can use any fabric content but it's easiest to hook with soft, flexible fabrics like t shirt, chiffon, soft sweaters, yarns. Harder fabrics like quilting fabric, denim, hard ribbons are more challenging to hook with.

Do you think the Sixx machine would cut through a bed sheet doubled up?
@loopbyloopstudio

Probably since it cuts through felted wool, but I have not tried so I can't say for sure! Maybe try reaching out to Old Tattered Flag since they manufacture the blades and would probably know. Thanks!

Do you use only 100% cotton? Thank you. Enjoyed your video:)

Thank so much! I did not use all 100% cotton. Most of the t-shirts I cut were, but some had other, synthetic fibers mixed in.
