Divide bust by 2... That should be your total armhole. If you're cutting on fold then divide bust by 4

From your explanation, my hips is 51 if I add 4 inches that serves as allowances I will be having 55/4 = 13.75 by the time I take out 3inches for zip allowances the remaining 10.75 won't be enough for my remaining horizontal measurements that means it's save to say I will be adding the 3 inches of the button Allowance which will now be 58 instead of 55 to cut out my pattern right ?

No ma. According to her explanation let me use use measurement instead Your hip=51" 51/4=12.75 You then add 3" for the band to this answer 12.75+3=15.75 Then add 2" for the freeness😂( how big you want your shirt to be) 15.75+2=17.75 Then you add the sewing allowance. She used 2" also. 17.75+2=19.75. So the width of your paper will be 19.75" wide.
