Congratulations on getting everything finished in time to exchange the dollhouses. It is so well done and without those pesky thrown together parts that sometimes sneak in when life clashes with a time crunch. It really is the most amazingly imaginative dollhouse I have ever seen and I cannot wait to hear the story. I am wondering if the museum has some type of push the button and play device so people who see the house for the first time can hear you tell its story?

@@spongebobsqueeze That's a great idea! It would really help people to understand the story of Ara's Alien Ship and all the different characters who live on board. So Ara, we think you should definitely do a recording of your voice telling the story of your wonderful 🚢 ship and all her occupants. (I said "her" because ships are always female, aren't they? Which I suppose comes from the fact that a ship is a vessel..) Anyway, I love this idea.

I think a scene set in froglien society would be such a fun and interesting project! Maybe the inside of a space bar so you only have to make one room but can make lots of fun frogs! I think he is the cutest doll you've made yet

I feel like the scarf is either him learning crochet to pass the time or maybe a sentimental gift from someone important to him. Because it’s so handmade looking compared to everything else in the ship. (At that scale it’s pretty wonky but in a sweet way). It adds such a special touch that enriches the story- just like every other detail in here!

This was just delightful! Congratulations on finishing your to-do lists! Every last detail is so special and it's beautiful how so many people gifted Captain Maggie so many wonderful things. ....sooo....you mentioned wanting to do more "frog folk"... First thing that came to mind is the children's book series I grew up with: Frog and Toad They live in huts/houses, wear clothes, drink tea, and have adventures with other creatures...and are very Bert & Ernie-esque with each other... You are amazing. I LOVE this new guy. You have such an imagination. I love that, too. I also would rather hand sew for an hour than get my machine out. I was traumatized many years ago by a bad machine which I spent more time fighting with than actually sewing. But now that I have a Pfaff I am still acting like it's the bad old days of the Kenmore. Congratulations! I have enjoyed The Captain's Quarters even more than the other 'big' projects because it is all original...totally your imagination. I too am looking forward to hearing the story of our Captain. I saw the Coleen Moore Fairytale Castle at the Museum of Science & Industry in Chicago as a child and I have been fascinated with miniatures ever since. The Captain's Quarters reminds me of the kind of detail in that...the 3 blind mice are in the kitchen-without tails! Thank you for sharing your gift with us ❤

You're done! Yey! I can't believe it! You were well into it when I found you in 2021 and this was the project that attracted me to your channel and your Patreon. I've said it before but you did so much, much more to it. It's amazing how it developed. Kudos to everyone who sent in an object or book. Just shows how everyone wants to participate in creative and fun art. I like Bar'eth's style sense and I think the jaunty scarf your sister made tells us so much about him. I absolutely love how the captain's quarters came out and all the little touches you have added really do tell a story. As you know I love the lived in look it really does help tell the story and you have nailed it. I did laugh at the colour of the kitty litter that would have been one poorly kitty to make it that colour 😂 the new improved colour and glitter looks so cool.

I love the way you incorporated a parrot into the story. Parrots live pretty long, though not at long at the captain’s species, but maybe it’s an alien parrot. This made me curious about which animal has the longest life span because I just know it has to be a sea creature. A quick google search resulted with a Bowhead Whale, which can live over 200 years. It’s amazing that the captain is this awesome sea themed alien and you’ve integrated so many cool little Easter eggs in crafting her story. ❤

Just by watching your channel. I’ve watched just about all your videos so far. I love watching your videos and tiny keyhole minis, little Gretchen‘s workshop, Where the gnomes live, Whitney Labrie and Queen city minis. All of you guys really inspire me. I’m working on a dollhouse called the victorian painted lady. I’ve already put it together and painted the outside of it, and started working on the inside. So much fun! All of you has helped me a lot. Thank you so much for what you do. Oh I ordered your fairytale book from Amazon. I should get it today. I’m so excited to get it and read it.
