Bruh I’ve been been watching your vids. They give me so much of the same vibes me and my buddies would have (before they all had kids). I just got dogs and motorcycles, trucks and fun cars now (and mopeds) now. But keep the content coming. I’m loving the nostalgia I’m getting from the vids
Thank you so much that means a lot. It's been a lot harder to make videos now that we're both working full time. Been fixing on the trucks and the Lincoln but the bikes and goped have been on the back burner. We'll get back to filming stuff. We got kind of a lot of fun stuff that we haven't made videos of yet (including a sweet boat). Thank you for watching and commenting!
I used to have a modded sport. A new pipe and carb is good however if you want that thing to wheelie you right off with 1/2 throttle change out the head
Have you tried to put a go ped rocket key timing advance on that engine? Would be curious to see what the spark plug gap and coil to flywheel gap change and some methanol premix or nitromethane premix to see if it improves the mid range to top end out?
@@hondayamahafan Yea it was a nice lil rush. Started racing when I was 11 I'm damn near 31 now haha Old timer... Trips me out people kept this sport alive. I loved it growing up Wish kids would get back into this sort of stuff
Hell yeah! When I was a kid (probably around 8 or so) I saw gopeds in the hammacher schlemmer toy magazines and always wanted one. When I turned 22 I bought one on marketplace. That quickly turned into rebuilding it into the 36cc xped! I love it. I don't ride it often anymore but I really do love it. Dream come true. Got my eyes on a super gsr46r now!
@@hondayamahafan Hell yea! I always wanted a xped. I had 3 sports. over time I built them up. Best years of my life. Guess I'm still a kid at heart, thinking of hitting up offer up or Craigslist right now. 🤞🏾
I grew up with go-peds. Had an original model from the late 80's, then went to xped, then a bigfoot. So I say this with love...e-scooters are where it's at. After parts, time installing and upkeep, not to mention fuel and oil. Electric is better in my opinion. My Apollo Ghost was worth the switch. 36mph/ 10" tubed tires/ 330lb carrying capacity and 29 miles per 6 hour charge real world use. It's just more convenient and doesn't wake up the neighborhood.
