Couple things I’d add: - Tiana’s Palace restaurant in New Orleans Square, with live music, meet and greet characters, and a Tarot card reader (and sellable cards with similar designs from the movie of course) - Hawaiian Themed restaurant in Adventureland where Moana, Maui, Lilo, and Stitch can meet guests. Some of the profits from this restaurant will be given to different Indigenous Peoples in different parts of the world - replace Autopia with flying cars (hovering cars moved by like, magnets or something) - Skippy gets his own “Mystic Manor” dark ride in Tomorrowland and its like, an alien zoo and you chase him through different alien enclosures -Beastly Kingdom behind Fantasyland -Jean Lafiette and the original secret paths connecting Haunted Mansion, Pirates, Tom Sawyer, and now Mystic Manor together can’t believe you forgot about Jean Lafiette 😔 ...
@@kiannalim308 Wondering if maybe a renaming of said restaurant would work? something like 'Ohana Eatery' ? then it covers Tongan/Tahitian (or... wherever they technically wanna say it was from) and Hawaii so the characters can meet there anyways.
S. E. A. is so great and so underutilized. I like the fact that it's kind of like a secret thing right now but people look at me like I'm crazy when I try and talk about it and they're not initiated and I just think it's such a cool concept and I wish it was used more in the Parks
This literally sounds like pretty much my perfect park too. The mixture of rides from different parks and EVERY DOLE WHIP FLAVOUR. I also really love that version of Tomorrowland too. I wish we could have that in America. Very grateful for your videos! Thank you and have a happy Thanksgiving!
The disneyland would be so over powered lol. It would literally be a mixed of all the parks. And in New Orleans Square I'd add Tiana's Place restaurant and The Snuggly Ducking restaurant from Tangled in Fantasyland. I'd also add a log flume dark ride themed to Princess and the Frog that's similar to Splash Mountain. For the castle I would choose to do Aladdin's castle.
I’m catching up on a bunch of stuff I haven’t watched bc of work now in quarantine and I just found this comment. How’s it feel to be a prophet? PATF Splash mountain,,,, you absolute legend
My perfect Disney park would incorporate attractions from every park around the world, and if I had to pick a theme to tie it all together it would probably be music, it would be a celebration of Disney’s greatest music, a few examples of attractions that would be in the park are Mickey’s Philharmagic, Slpash Mountain, the country bear jamboree, Seven Dwarves Mine Train, Haunted Mansion, maybe Rock n’ Roller Coaster and other attractions that have classic Disney music in them, I would also add new attractions like dark rides that go through musical numbers of classic movies (like the Lion King, Fantasia, the Jungle Book, etc) I would also add a ride similar to spaceship earth but about the history of music and you would enter through a broadway theater style entrance, and I would also maybe add a music themed roller coaster of some kind. There would also be shows like Mickey and the Magical Map, Fantasmic (a special version with elements of all three Fantasmics), that Guardians of the Galaxy show they have at Epcot, and a theater with the musicals they show on the cruise line maybe they could switch which one’s playing every once in a while. I think I would separate the parks into music styles and put the rides attractions and shows in whatever area it fits into the best
If my MOM had to pick a theme to tie her park together it would probably be fashion, it would be a celebration of Disney’s greatest outfits, a few examples of attractions that would be in the park are Frozen Ever After, The Seas with Nemo and Friends, Killamanjaro Safaris, and Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway. She would also add a ride similar to Spaceship Earth but about the history of fashion. Yeah that’s her Epcot and a chance to give her first park, DisneyPlanet, a second gate.

ANY DISNEY PARK WITH A SLEEPING BEAUTY DARK RIDE!!!! Ideally the queue would be exploring different places in the castle and possibly include character photo spots for while you are waiting in line!
They both had the same opportunities. Edison invented the modern world; Tesla invented...what exactly? Alternating current? A fancy water pump? Ours is an age that derives personal satisfaction from slinging stones at the giants that came before. This meme didn't exist when people were educated.
I'd like to imagine "what they do best" is just them blabbering and arguing "Well,Tesla, keep your mouth shut! It's my turn!" "Yeah? It was my turn to share my ideas and you stole them!" Basically kinda like a comedy show lmao
Two years late here, but what I would like to see is a brand new park from Disney that has entirely original lands and attractions. I’d love to see what kind of park Disney could make today without basing anything on what has been done before. I would also like for no individual land to be based on a specific film or franchise. I prefer lands that are more varied although individual rides could be based on this. Some land ideas are as follows. Disney Station: The hub for this new park takes the form of a travel station in between worlds. It mixes together the themes of an airport, a sea port, and a train station all with a futuristic flare. Mythic Mountain: A land based on the myths of Ancient Greece and Europe in general. It would feature Ancient Greek and Roman architecture and would be home to a colosseum show, a Hercules ride, and an underworld walk through. Dark Land: This land would be based on Disney villains in general and would feature Malificants castle as the center piece. Cyber City: A big and futuristic city land with a cyberpunk inspiration. Attractions include a big hero six indoor coaster and the world arcade, a giant arcade featuring cutting edge games. Prehistoric Plateau: A land based on dinosaurs and the ice age. A volcano themed coaster called Molten Mountain would be the centerpiece:
Although I think perfection doesn't actually exist, I'd be glad enough if they brought Tokyo's Disney Seas to Orlando, preferably with the foods, products and services they do there, and let the Japanese remodel all the parks with their perfection pursuing mania.
We have the same New Orleans feels. I like your park, when can I book? Also, I would add a villians land in the back, kinda where Star Wars is right now.
This is really cool! I love the mix of old, new, and reimagined rides. I myself like to fantasize about building about my own theme parks and dreaming of becoming an imagineer someday. It’s nice to hear about other people’s ideas and what they would do different. Some ideas I would have for my perfect Disneypark is that I would include a DicoveryBay esque area to where either Tomorrowland or Frontierland is. I’ve always liked the idea of steampunk/Victorian sci-fi and I really want to experience that here in the U.S. (assuming this park will be in the U.S.) This area will feature elements from both Discoveryland in Paris and Disneysea in Tokyo. The rides here will be based off of Jules Verne’s novels including a “20,000 leagues” submarine dark ride, a “from the earth to the moon” space mountain, a fly-cycle theatre ride based on “around the world in 80 days”, and an unearthing of an early ride concept for a “journey to the center of the earth” ride: a wild mouse coaster layout with an elevator drop ride element. Also here would be a train station, some live steampunk entertainment, references to S.E.A, and that Tesla/Edison Show you proposed.
6:37 If I may make the suggestion, the boats in this version of Pirates should be timed differently, so that the ride perfectly lines up with the dialogue from the talking skull. If Disneyland's Pirates has a flaw, it's that the timing can be so far off, and you can plunge down halfway through the skull's speech
this is amazing i love this. and i wish you a happy thanksgiving (if you celebrate that) to anyone who reads this. have an amazing day you disney fans!
This is great. Love the Western River Expedition in Frontierland. My ideal Disney park would have incorporated the original mega Indiana Jones complex that had the Railroad, Jungle Cruise, Mine Carts, and the Jeep Ride. I also would add some technological aspects of Shanghai’s POTC to the Disneyland version and put that in the park as well. You could probably make a video series on just your ideal park - going land by land in each episode!
Shanghai's pirates is so different it deserves to be its own ride. I like how Offhand said that it should be an exact clone of Disneyland's except NO JACK SPARROW. Strip the ride of any reference to the movie franchise, and then give Shanghai's pirates its own attraction nearby, without the references to the ride (Like the skeletons in the jail near the beginning)
I love how looking at your map you have The Carousel of Progress on Main Street. Hard to think of a more perfect Disneyland than what you laid out. Time to make this the perfect two-park resort of with the addition of a perfected Animal Kingdom. Take current Animal Kingdom, but make Navi River Journey longer with more things, and get rid of Dinoland for a South American themed part of the park, some amazon rain forest thrill ride or some shit. Maybe since Indiana Jones in Offhand Disneyland is a roller coaster, we could still somehow keep Dinosaur cause I fucking love that ride tbh.
One problem with Indiana Jones and the Temple and the Temple of the Skies, is that the manufacturer who made suspended coasters is now defunct. It could work as an invert or maybe an axis (s and s prototype)
On land I would add is a land dedicated on Disney Channel cartoons. Picture a Phineas and Ferb themed thrill rollercoaster. A Ducktales dark ride (Since there are now 2 generations who have grown up with it). A replica of the Mystery Shack as a walk through attraction and gift shop. Ect. Not to mention all the new costume characters they could introduce. Speaking of which I'd also love to include characters from the post renaissance films which didn't succeed at the time like treasure planet or Atlantis or Anastasia since that's Disney now.
My various dream Disney parks actually include a lot of what you mentioned, and I like your idea of a bare-bones tomorrowland, easily able to be updated without leveling stuff.
I've been working on my own Disney park (since the early '90s actually) and I am happy to report that it DOES include a People Mover because, as you pointed out, it just wouldn't be a Disney park without it! I love seeing the imagined kingdoms of the fans because in many cases they're better then the 'official' Imagineers' versions. I guess that's one of the perks of having no space restrictions, company politics or budget limitations! Just pure, perfect imagination. Great video!
You smashed it, such a great vision. Only been to Disney land and California adventure once when I was a kid and it was awesome. But your ideas would be even better
You make some really strong points for more walk-thru attractions! Having just seen Frozen 2, I have a (hopefully non-spoiler-y) suggestion: give me that enchanted forest and Ahtohallan walk-thru. It would be beautiful and with the right special/practical effects, mildly haunting.
Dude i'd love to hear you talk through a re-imagined Haunted Mansion! It's my favourite ride and there is so much technology now that could make a new mansion phenomenal
AWESOME idea for a video bud! what Disney fan hasn't either thought of this very thing? I know that I have doodled and sketched down at least 5 or 6 of my ideal Disneylands in my time. its a fun and creative thing to do. oh the possibilities. also, im soo happy I met and hung out with you at WDW this week! safe travels back home, and I cant wait to hit the parks together again!
was i the only moron who jumped when he put in the thunder soundbite? Well played Offhand well played. As an individual that cant get spooked easily I appreciate the surprise
I think for me a perfect Disneyland includes my favourite rides, so I’d like Mystic Manor from Hong Kong. From Shanghai I want Pirates of Caribbean Sunken Treasure, Tron and also one attraction I am unsure about the name - challenge trails (the one where you wear a harness and climb/explore different paths). And then I remember as a child to go to America’s parks and the Indiana Jones ride from Disneyland. I love that one. Haunted Mansion is also a must in any Disneypark, so put in one (or two) of that is good too. And then sprinkle the Disneypark with classic rides and a wonderful castle (Shanghai’s castle is good so I want that one) :D And of course a extra good fast pass just for me!
My ideas for rides for my park would be as follows. Of course would have the classics rides, but these would be new attractions along with it. Mystic Cruise: A new take on the Jungle Cruise were inside of real animals, you encounter animatronics of magical creatures from across the world such as Dragons, Unicorns, Trolls and even Thunderbirds Heroes Under Siege: a darkride similar to the Transformers ride (yes I know that's from universal) were you join the TV heroes from Gravity Falls, Star vs, Kim Possible, Owl House and Ducktales on the day they are going to be inducted into what is called the Hall of Heroism, a place were heroes a recognized for their bravery and also acts as vault for great mystical items. However, a band of villains lead by Maleficent arrive to steal the hat of Yen Seid. Now, your caught in the crossfire as the heroes try to fight off the villains while you join Dipper and Mabel in protecting the hat from the villains. The finally would feature a massive Dragon Maleficent animatronic breathing fire at you. Mickey's Wet and Wild Adventure: A Splash Mountain type ride were instead of the story of Brer Rabbit, it's a new story about Mickey, Donald and Goofy going on a camping trip and everything that could go wrong, does go wrong. Frozen: Fire and Ice: A darkride/wateride that tells a new story with the Frozen characters were the dragon of nordic myth, Fafnir, has come to destroy Adrendale, leading to a clash between Elsa and the Dragon. the ride layout would be set as a wateride were your caught in the middle of Fafnir and Elsa's battle throughout via both animatronics and screens. Escape From Maleficent: a darkride/roller coaster were in the story you join a group of thieving trolls who want to steal the treasure from Maleficent's castle, but you get caught and now have to escape from both her and her minions. This ride would be like a little toned down version of Revenge of The Mummy at Universal. Zero's Holiday Hi-jinks: A Mystic Manor type dark ride were you follow Zero has he finds himself traveling through Christmas town and all the other Holiday Worlds after being separated from Jack during a nasty prank by Lock, Shock and Barrel. Night on Bald Mountain: A darkride/roller coaster based off of Night on Bald Mouuntain featuring animatronics of demons and ghosts and a massive one of Chernaborg him. Gravity Falls: Hotel of Horrors: A drop tower ride that would be this park's Tower of Terror, where instead of the Twilight Zone, it's themed after Gravity Falls. In this ride's story, Stan has bought a rundown hotel and plans to refurbish it and make a profit off the tourists who come to Gravity Falls. However, Stan ignored the warning's about the place being haunted he, his family and you, will pay the price for trespassing.
I mean...you uh...you used EPCOT entrance music so I am immediately on board because DAMN THAT MUSIC MAKES ME SAY YES TO ANYTHING YOU ASK ME TO SELL MY SOUL TO YOU WHILE PLAYING THIS MUISC AND first off I have an IOU with your name on it, Disney took mine...and also YES
There is also a walkthrough version of Storybook Land Canal Boat in HK Disneyland, called Fairy Tale Forest. If I am able to build my own Disney park, I would add more scenes in the little mermaid ride, such as the shipwreck, Ursula becoming gigantic and Ariel crashing the wedding. Also, special video!👍
I think a Nightmare Before Christmas dark ride would definitely go in Fantasyland. It’s so popular and loved throughout Disney parks, it needs it’s own ride.
Many Disney Parks’ fans (including myself) have their own versions of the classic Magic Kingdom created by Walt (first as Disneyland)! I love to see some other ideas! And boy, New Orleans Square is my favorite “land” of all, too! Although I’m an East Coast guy, Disneyland will always have a special place in my heart. 💫And, by the way, we have lots of same ideas for our “kingdons”, man! 😂✌️
Personally i wish for a villain's themepark to be coexist with Disneyland (instead of California Adventure). So that way you can have the light and the dark.
I think the perfect park would be a mix of original ideas and attractions, lots of E ticket and interactive experiences, plenty of immersive Disney property lands and attractions, as well as the all of the adventurer society interactions and references!!!
Absolutely amazing video dude. As a fanboy I to am always coming up with my own theme park idea. Mostly a “Knott’s Ghost Town Park” But I’ve tackled a Disney park to. I have it located in Texas and features a lot of classic, canceled, and original attractions. Including their own Mystery Shack and a personal favorite, a Legend of Sleepy Hollow dark ride. Oh yes, I have ideas 😁
My perfect dianeyland park would be a very huge one! It will consist of out door and indoor rides and attractions (or both) and everything will be the same from Walt Disney world (Disneyland Florida) expected for some rides will not be present in the park. But I will have newer and better ones that all would enjoy. There will be plenty of restaurants both outdoor and indoor, food/ snack vendors for quick eat up, fast food restaurants ( for more Express and quicker way to eat), restaurants with NO reservations needed it. And souvenir vendors that will sell anything to both the locals and tourists. Yes there will be a fast pass lanes on every ride. There will be a main street that will be more real and a huge tribute to walt himself. And bigger gift shops so anyone can get what they like. There will be a few indoor and out door rollercoasters. A few dark rides and two walk thru attractions. And a two story Disney museum with all the history, nostalgia, and knowledge artifacts that have been collected to be seen in person. And a " park land" where is an open park area for taking breaks, hanging out, relaxing and to eat and smoke. And I borrowed one area from Disneyland is the new Orleans square. Witch will be much bigger than the one in Disneyland. Also it will have live music and a this themed area will have alot of references to princess and the frog. Most new rides will be for that movie. And a new themes area that sea themed and it will be based on the little mermaid and finding Nemo movies. There will be a space mountain but better it will have more lighting effects. And a two more open spaces that will be a much bigger downtown disney witch it will be both and outdoor and indoor shopping experience. And it will include restaurants that are Disney themed. Along with real store and restaurant brands we all know. And other open area that will be either a outdoor or indoor music venue, golf course, open target shooting area or a drive - in theater. And yes my perfect disney park will include a much bigger hotel it will also include a casino within. A bigger car parking spaces. And as the last area in my park will include a villains theme area homage to all the Disney's most flavored baddies. If not then it will be turned into the descendants land. A themes area in the park where it's all descendants related. And inconclusion my perfect Disneyland will take up more lands and space to build it. No joke it will!!! Also I'm so sorry that it took my this long to tell and shear what my own disney parl would look like. Also my park will have a few nick names too. Such as: Disney @ auradon, descendantsland, Evie's Disneyland. Again this ALL OF THIS came from my imagination.
I ADORE Epcot. It incorporates all the things I enjoy. I can stare at a manatee for an hour. I can visit a mini version of a bunch of different countries in a single day. I can snack around the world too. I can see a concert from a Top 40 artist. I can browse a number of shops with all different kinds of merchandise. All around a big beautiful lake. I can't wait for the major overhaul the park is getting and I hope it's going to really upgrade the experience. I know that Epcot isn't perfect, but I can never look back on a day I spent there and say I didn't have an amazing time. Also there needs to be a Tiana's place restaurant in New Orleans Square in Offhand Disneyland.
Well done, Dallin. So many great ideas!!! The only thing I'd add (other than some sort of Jean Laffite tavern) would be something having to do with Mickey Mouse. Not a Toontown duplicate, Runaway Railway or Philharmagic, necessarily, but I don't feel like you really gave the Fab 5 any representation at all.
Already had the perfect park, probably before you were born. We knew all the tricks to hit every show and every ride. . .and we knew Walt was watching from above the firehouse.
If the SEA game gave out a special magic band at it’s completion that looked like a gold bracelet/medallion, that would make it absolutely great. Even if I had to pay, just having a winnable band at the end would make it soooo worth it
This is really good! Mine would be more of a thrill park. Save the pre-existing Disney parks for the kids; this one is more geared towards teens, older kids, and adults. It has some dark rides, yeah, like maybe a grimmer version of Pirates of the Caribbean and Haunted Mansion, but also the thrill rides, like Rock 'n Roller Coaster, Space Mountain, Expedition Everest, Matterhorn Bobsleds, Big Thunder, Radiator Springs Racer, Flight of Passage, and so on. Heavy on the simulators and roller coasters.
My ideal Disney park is an exact replica of magic kingdom but it’s right next to my house and everything is free and the only dole whip they serve is pineapple
Love this perfect Disney Park idea. As a suggestion, would love if The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh would be something similar to Pooh's Hunny Hunt in Tokyo Disneyland. The thing that would make this ride different would be that it is a water ride. Similar to the concept art that was made for the Winnie the Pooh ride at Disneyland Paris and Disneyland. For the ride, I would be adding the rain scene after you exit the heffalumps and woozles scene. The first thing you will see on your left is Pooh on the tree with his 10 honey pots. He will say "I must rescue my supper." There will be 2 animatronic Poohs for this part. 1 will fall down the tree with the honey pot stuck on his head. He fall down halfway before he his hidden behind the leaves of the branches of the tree. The second animatronic would rise from the ground. A water splash effect (perhaps splashing the guests) will hide the animatronic rising from the ground. Pooh will then float with you for the rest of the scene. On your left will be Piglets house. The window will open to reveal a Piglet animatronic on a chair. Out will come a bottle with a letter. Inside his bedroom, you can see his furniture floating about. Piglet would say "Oh d-d-dear!" Also on your left before you make a sharp right turn, you will see Eeyore on top of Owl's house saying "First the wind, and now this." Soon after, Owl will fly above you hooting out "Christopher! We've found them!" On your right, an animatronic Christopher Robin (detailed like the Beauty and the Beast animatronics used for Tokyo Disney), will call out "Look! There's Pooh, and Piglet!" Tigger, Rabbit, Kanga and Roo will be by Christopher on an umbrella. The final splashdown will be next, so Piglet would say "A very big waterfall!" Here your picture is taken. You will then be in the hero party scene. Everyone but Pooh will be there. Here's why. Above the lift hill will be a honey tree with Pooh's bottom wiggling about. As you ascend to the unloading station, you will be in a room full of honey. (It smells like honey in here too.) Guests can turn around to see Pooh happily eating his honey. What are your thoughts on this? Any suggestions as well?
Great video! Having recently been to Shanghai Disney though, I have two remarks: there is a Snow White walk trough attraction in the castle there (so a walktrough dark ride Snow White based attraction does exist). Also at Shanghai Disneyland´s Camp Discovery there are several references to the S.E.A. :)
I want to go to Offhand Disneyland!!!! Yes to the People-mover. Some thoughts... I love Disneyland’s Pirates of the Caribbean and never want to see it replaced but Shanghai Disneyland’s Pirates is a truly spectacular experience that Offhand Disneyland has to add somehow... Also, Edison was a vicious and vindictive competitor of Tesla with opposing philosophies. Can’t really combine them into one experience. Maybe just Nikola since his work seems to be the future of powering our world...
I would definitely work at your park at off hand Disneyland. Longest it has a descendants themed area or a villains attractions with in the park. Also a mulan and Tarzan themed zones in your park to expand it. Again. Nice Disney park you imagined of.
I grew up in the 80s and I really miss the people mover and the original Star Tours with Pee Wee Herman's voice. I also have a very faint memory of riding Adventure through Innerspace as a very small child. Basically I can remember the giant eyeball looking at me through the microscope, which scared the crap out of me.
I’d make mine VERY similar to yours, but I would keep mine train, and i would have Adventureland expanded a bit to include expedition Everest and a lot of the Asia theming from AK.
Mr Toad always belonged in Liberty Square along w a true Sleepy Hollow attraction, so I say merge the theming of N.O. square & Liberty Square to a new Historic Square and put Mr. Toad up behind the Haunted Mansion, add a Sleepy Hollow/Headless Horseman attraction similar to Splash Mountain. Add back the tie-in themes between lands/attractions. And as much as a hate to say it, use the Hightower version of Tower of Terror bc I think the story arc continuation is important. ... Also bring back Wishes. Ok thanks ♡
Add a 101 Dalmatians riding Curella De-vils Car, also I would Love to see Brave as a Ride, The Lion King, Tangled, Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Rides, Frozen Added as well as we can still have Pirates of The Caribbean, The Haunted Mansion, Winnie The Pooh, Snow White, Alice and Wonderland, Peter Pan, Mr Toad, Splash Mountain, Toy Story, Everything
I was with you all the way until I realized there was no TOM SAWYER ISLAND! Not only do we need this, but you gotta have a AAA darkride there, maybe with the riders helping Tom, Huck, and Becky evade Injun Joe. Also, bring back Missile/Rocket/Flight to the Moon/Mission to Mars with more convincing technology as opposed to the true simulator that is Mission Space. Also a restoration of Space Station X-1 as a restaurant, maybe. Ready to start saving up for my Offhandland Annual Pass.
