Had this arm guard for a few years now and while I do really like it I have some feedback 1) it is quite heavy and bulky 2) the elastic cordage does cut into the arm a little bit on long sessions 3) the elastic cordage does break down and thin over time I would definitely recommend it and happily have new archers use it!

Yes, it is the most comfortable arm guard I've purchased. I purchased about a dozen others before I found yours. I've since given 10 of those other guards away.

I have recently purchased one of your arm guards through Amazon. I am returning it as it is scratched and has obviously been used. It has the shatterproof logo on it However it has no stitching as featured in your video. I have also bought a shatterproof string for my Bear Ausable longbow through Amazon. An excellent string, very pleased.

So this begs the question; does correct form in terms of holding the bow, result in the arm being hit by the bow string when a shot is made? I have smacked my arm a couple times while using a compound, but with a recurve, it's not been an issue at all. So is the arm guard's purpose to protect your arm when you make a mistake in your shot or when you make a correct shot? Great video btw.

Go check out Krammer Ammons 1st videos he did years ago on his original youtube channel. He has a tip video on how to avoid wrist slap. Biggest factor IMO is having your elbow turned the wrong way. Your elbow should face out to the side and not down. For compound, also don't over grip the bow too tightly. Very loose grip. Hope this helps.
