Thanks! That is the side effect of tip on function. If you put things into the drawer to make it heavier, it shall be easier to close. If the issue still exists, then you probably can choose a tip on device with lower weight rating. Blum tip on device has several different weight ratings.
does the tip-on mechanism also function as a latch? meaning; the drawer will stay closed even when pulling, tugging on it (or sliding open with weight)?
Not sure if I understand your question correctly. Are you referring to inset drawer? If yes, then you can definitely do so. You just need to use different runner setback.
