Yes, this turban style requires more pins for a strong and stable hold for all the elements. As long as they do not go through the base, it is ok. I will post other styles as well, that will not require too many pins. In fact, you can make a simple turban using only 3 pins! Stay tuned! Thanks for watching :)
The less pins the better, as I was taught. Also, if I may respectfully ask, why are we not centering the turbans over His tilak? +Eyereen Jellybean Hare Krishna, thank you for your inquiry. According to Mayapur Academy standards, Radharani always dressed symmetrically, but Krishna can dress asymmetrically. Thus, both the side centered and tilak centered turbans are acceptable. Hope this helps!
