Making Up MY OWN Nightmare Character - Meet 'The Chef'

I have an idea for a character! The Musician: When someone is going through something sad or tough, like the loss of a family member or a breakup, they will start to hear beautiful music that makes them feel better about it, but can never find the source (the unidentifiable guitar player is never seen by his victim until he kills them). They will keep searching and searching for the musician until it drives them insane. The music will lead them to their ultimate demise (for example, the music will lead them to a very busy highway or a cliff), and the musician will then reveal himself as the last thing they see. After they die completely, the musician is known to take the bodies away, but the authorities can never find them and it is unknown what he actually does with them. Edit: I just now realized that the “drives them insane part” doesn’t quite make sense, or at least the wording. Let’s just say it puts them in a zombie-like trance. Someone pointed that out in the replies, so thanks, my friend! Edit 2: All of you have given wonderful ideas in the replies! I have acknowledged the idea of his instruments being made out of hair, bones, and skin, and think that is very cool. Also, a user asked if there was away to escape our musical friend. And there is! However, it’s not the most enjoyable thing, for one has to plunge a sharp object (knife, pencil, etc.) in their own ear drums. This was inspired from the sirens of Greek mythology; to escape them, you need to not hear their songs. Also, the musician is LITERALLY a one man band, all at one time. He has multiple arms to play guitar, violin, and a small drum. Also, if anyone knows Alastor from Hazbin Hotel, he has a voice like him. Those of you who aren’t familiar with this character, Alastor has a 1940s American-style accent that sounds “staticky,” as if you were hearing it from a radio. You can look up clips to get a better idea :)

i can just imagine a little chef grunting, making little happy noises, and waddling around in a little kitchen. he’s just so adorable in a creepy way!! 😌

I just imagine him running around the kitchen literally bumping into everything and his little hat bouncing back and forth

I'd love to see what "The Chef" looked like before he was turned into a mutant. I think it'd be interesting because he has such a deformed shape.

It's cool how even though this is inspired by Little Nightmares, this character is sooo much different from the Little Nightmares Chefs

You know what, I say give this man an award! Sure he uses human parts..... but he dosen't actually kill people and he just seems to enjoy making food for people! #OddlyWholesome

Can you do “the gardener” it has big scissors, he waters your plants with his victim’s blood and then you become other victim. Idk I’m not good with stories but I’m sure you can make something amazing.

Another idea for a creature: The Protector or The Guardian. Known to try and protect the kids from the evil with some kind of twisted means, like killing their parents so they don't have to deal with the bullies at school something along those lines.

I kinda want a "what they used to look like" for all the LN characters I just like hearing their stories and seeing how they looked before 💩 hit the fan

“Bowl full of organs” sounds like an awesome name for a metal band.

This guy lowkey gives me a great sense of comfort for no reason. I would eat his food 100% even if I knew it was human. Great work!

I like how simple yet creepy his story turned out. I LOVE his hat. It's a chef hat, yet it also has almost mushroom vibes.

Just a thought on a cool character idea: the surgeon, a doctor gone mad with human artificial improvement. He is built with long almost wire like legs which end in some dry leather shoes made with "questionable" ethics. His arms start of skinny but on his right arm where the hand used to be a giant syringe and the other hand bloated almost bursting with excess water. His mouth almost completely covered up by a huge butcher knifelike nose. His eyes huge with miniscule pupils.his hair is barely visible with little to none showing. He wears a surgeon uniform with extra pockets sewn in some exploding with intestines and other organs all alphabetically sorted. Near his feet scurry weird bundles of flesh stitched together with almost random eyes and mouths stitched on with various levels of quality. Lore: the surgeon is a currently caught and monitored entity with little to no resistance to being captured as long as he gets human bodies of his choice to "practice medicine on" he has been proven to speak german but only to doctors describing the things he makes as "failed projects" when he is asked about what hez trying to achieve he decdnds into a blind rage slamming desks, hitting walls, kicking his failed experiments even causing self harm on some rare occasions almost throwing tantrums. From the evidence given from the 3 survivors he firsts appears in dreams apearing in yellow gas leaking from walls stabbing people with the large syringe arm and when the victims wake up IF they wake up are mangled disfigured in the surgeons junkpile one of the three survivors had lost his whole ribcage and an eye. The surgeon whilst insane has managed to create new life yet useless for menial tasks and often bump into things. The chance of survival is 4% and the chances of mentally surviving are next to none. Ok if you made it here your either a chad or someone who skim read it (which i think is fair) then thanks for reading however much you did and i do hope this gets made its a smidge overboard but i do like the idea.

Getting some Burton-y Mayor of Halloween Town vibes in the very best way! Love it when you use brighter colors, it really gives the opportunity for your details to shine... and the opportunity for more grime! The props are amazing, definitely makes him more dynamic rather than being in a completely static pose. I love him!

I love it!!! Have you thought about making some sort of fitting "hero" to go in this universe who fights against all of these mutants? You could go super dark like a batman kind of hero that would fit the theme!

@ace of clay my idea for a little nightmares mutant would be the artist. The artist would go around walking on empty streets at night and he would always carry a blank canvas and paint brush around with him. If he looked at your face he would paint you while running towards you and after he finnished the painting you would die. He catches victims every night that he is out and puts all of their paintings in a big art gallery often visited by more mutants. Pleaseeeee sculpt this! I'm a huge fan of your work!

I think artists always know when the hit a homerun and this is one of those times.

as I watch these videos and hear their stories, I always wonder, how does the human cope with this or even deal with these mutants. I love the mutants and their stories about them, especially the story of the ice cream man. but I love this universe, very scary and intriguing. can't wait to see more projects of this universe!!

This was an awesome sculpt! I love this series, and every other sculpture you've made. I think a cool one you could do is "The Writer" and he writes with the blood of his victims. Each time he kills, he writes a story or book in a full description of the kill with his victim's blood and then sends it to someone who he wants to kill next.

Mine: The Kid --> He/she is so lonely in this world that it collects every 'friend' it can find. Watch out that it doesn't see you. If he/she noticed you and can't grab you, it'll scream and lure another boss to help him/her. The shadow --> In a room where a man can't budge, his shadow can still follow you. Watch out for dark places... it's there where the shadow can crab you within seconds. Bambix' idea for the kid: --> the child will be like 6 when she got mutated. The child will be some kind of sidekick and point out where you're hiding. If you escape while she is sleeping, she won't kill you right away. If she wakes up, she comes out of the swamp when you're outside and chase you until she gets you. If she can't catch you, she'll slowly dry out so she has to go to the swamp before she's too late. Chance Hanlin's ideas: The nun --> not Valek, instead maybe a nun-like humanoid creature that resembles something like hybrid between a fallen angel and a biblically accurate angel. Just imagine it chasing ypu chanting "be not afraid" or "fear not" in a crackly distorted unholy tone The witch --> maybe a coven-inspired one that worships the Eye God seen throughout Little Nightmares, for the purpose of keeping the curse placed throughout the world of Little Nightmares. Can you do you baker? He is a very slim and tall figure like the ice cream man and likes to experiment with different recipes and parts of the human body’s in the foods he mostly have customers from the darkest realm but if any normal person enters he will paralyze them while all the other customers gather around and suck the soul out of the body before the baker shoves it in the closet where he keeps all the other ones to use in his recipes. One last thing about him he wears a pastel blue, pink, and yellow uniform but over the 620 years he has worn it not stop it had turned more of a ghoulish Gray and dusty yellow color. Pls do this one I have been trying to think of one btw love your content

You should make a character called "the grave digger" He would only come out of his shed during night, and he would roam in the cover of shadows so he can go unnoticed. He would have a shovel stained with the blood of his victims that he uses to dig their graves. He would dig your grave before he kills you, and then seek you out and kill you before dawn. Once he covers up the graves grass grows over them so that they become hidden, as if the were never even dug. No body has seen what he looks like because he only targets people who are asleep, and he kills them as soon as he finds them. Idk, that's the best I could come up with.

Maybe this is what the chef from little nightmares looks like! The both of them can't talk but can make little noises. Or just cousins:) love this cute thing! great work :D

Really good design. I like how when you said the backstory of the other mutants there was creepy music, but for this guy since he isn’t inherently evil. You have a more happy music.
