Hello Sweet Mama!🙏 Preserved chili is a favorite of Mauritians. The perfect accompaniment for a sardine salad.Very common in street food stalls in Mauritius especially in dhalpuris.Whereas in Indo Mauritian wedding eve where seven curries and puris is served on a banana leaf a mix pickle of carrots chillies and green apple is served. A jar of pickled chilli “piment confit”is very much a must have in every Mauritian household.Enjoy yours and have a nice day.😘🙏
