Yeah that’s exactly right I do prefer to make characters that don’t usually get figures but I’m open to any and all now :) those are great options!! Thank you!! I love the original kongs from dk64!
It depends what you want to make but for basic essentials you’ll want- 1. Polymer Clay - any brand works great! Pick primary colors and a black and a white. With those you can mix to make any shade you need. 2. Aluminum foil - shape into a base for clay to save on the amount of clay used. Mainly if you’re making something large. 3. Craft blade - for cutting, like an xacto blade or a plastic knife if you are young/clumsier. 4. An oven - polymer clay is oven bake clay so you’ll need to bake it to cure the clay so it becomes permanently solid. 5. Practice - start with simple shaped creations or you may get discouraged. I suggest things like a Luma, a Yoshi egg, a Goomba or mushroom. I hope that helps :)
