Making blueberry wine today from blueberries picked at our local Oregon farm. Even after reading the instructions with my 1-gallon kit, I still needed a visual. This really helped. Thank you!

Hi! amazing videos! One question question, after racking into a clear jug after 4 weeks, Tim adds the refining agents. Is there another period of time before the bottling? It seems like the video cuts and then Tim begins to bottle. Thanks!

12-48 hours should be good for letting the fining agents do their thing before bottling.

I didn't see anything in the video about Camden tablets, when should I add those vs the pectic enzymes? Also should I give the must time to settle between them?

Thank you so much for your educational videos. I purchased the blackberry purée and i have racked it from primary. I am new to wine making and i have noticed an awful lot of pulp still in the mix. Is this normal and will it eventually subside?

Do you have an update to share with us by chance? I would think that you'd wait to let it rest again and try to rack as much wine from above the fruit as possible again. Might mean losing just a bit of wine, but it will be clearer and better tasting for it.

I wound up with getting only two bottles from it. I may try it again at another time using a base next time and not a puree.

So what would you do if you wanted a sweeter wine?

If you want to make it sweeter, wait the normal length of time until the normal time to bottle. At that time, you can add potassium sorbate and then sweeten to taste. Reattach lid/air lock and wait about 7 days. You can then go ahead and bottle it at that time.

Does anyone know if you have to keep this wine at 72-75 degrees Fahrenheit throughout the process like I've seen with another kit? He didn't mention it but I feel like the video sped through everything

interesting points ,if anyone else needs to find out about how to make wine at home recipes try Corbandy Tasty Wine Crusher (do a search on google ) ? Ive heard some super things about it and my mate got amazing success with it.
