you all prolly dont care but does any of you know a tool to get back into an instagram account..? I stupidly lost the password. I would love any assistance you can offer me.
@Bruce Eugene I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site thru google and I'm trying it out atm. I see it takes quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
Not bad for a piece of plastic though. Great for kids to try out. I thought the intonation was good. For a beginner who can't afford an expensive instrument it's amazing. Still, on RU-vid everyone's a critic 😉
My music shop has the most beautiful chrome colored sax. I play trumpet and wanted to see these plastic instruments I kept hearing about and wow. The sax was the most stunning.
+QwantomChaos Have a look at Cascio Interstate Music, www.interstatemusic.com/search/pTrumpet.aspx They have all colors in stock and I believe they will ship to you in Florida for free! If you need any further help please feel free to e-mail me at info@ptrumpet.com. Kate
+ilovewarriorcats11 really tempted too buy one, wish there was a music shop near me i could goo test one, i am on a 1930's corton at the moment, which i do love, one thing i wonder is that, i play on a C2 mouth piece, can i choose the mouth piece option, when i order?
If your a begginer do not buzz your lips when starting. It will cause bad habits and will ruin you sound.lip bussing is useful if you alredy know how to play the trunpet, it is a mith to start with this technique.
The company (pBone) offers to buy the trumpet with the two mouthpieces alone for $149 plus shipping. And a beginner's kit for $169 plus shipping. The only thing added to the beginner's kit is a trumpet book to get going. Hope that helps:)
I interesting to play this trumpet. But i cant buy this instrument. I dont have. Enought money to buy this instrument ..plz help me. Can you give me plastic trumpet? i will support any time. Plz help me... Plz.. Plz.. Plz.. Plz..
I bought one out of curiosity. Sold it soon after. Plastic horns are crap....fun to try...but crap. Don't fall for the hype. A professional can make a garden hose sound good. If you're just starting out you may as well suck on a brass trumpet.
my current trumpet is a Glory. it costs $100 and I love the color but I'll admit, when it arrived the valves were so dry you could hear them through the bell of the trumpet and the caps were stuck so I had to use tools to unscrew them. After some heavy greasing I've gotten them to work just fine and I haven't greased it in like a month or so and I'm having no problems with sticking. i Used to play on a Schiller and as far as I can tell, they aren't very much different as far as playability is concerned but I'm no professional. it does have a bit of a darker sound due to the paint making the trumpet a bit thicker (I got the white painted one) but I love it. not sure how it will hold up with time though. again I'm no professional and I've heard a lot of negatives about Glory's trumpets, mostly their valves, but I was expecting such from and $100 trumpet and Glory is a cheap but sort of inconsistent brand. This also turned out way longer than I intended it to be so sorry 😂
chinese trumpets (assuming you are talking about soa na) are so much simpler compared to normal trumpet. I supposed the only costly thing for a chinese trumpet is the mouth piece
do NOT tighten up ur lips to play higher notes change the vowel sound using ur tounge position, imagine saying "eee" instead of "ohh" which is used for deeper, lower notes. that being said, ur embouchure still needs to be stable enough so that air doesnt leak out.
Because lip buzzing and playing into the instrument (brass) are two different things. You can check that easily at 3:45 where he buzzes (very poor pitch by the way) then when he puts the trumpet on his lips, his mask/embouchure (the form of the face near the mouthpiece) changes completely. You don't need to know how to buzz to play a brass instrument, that is a complete myth, and it can cause many issues in beginners, trying to get that buzz sound by closing lips, throat, and at the end having a poor and nasal sound. Lip buzzing/mouthpiece buzzing can be good to reinforce muscles of the face once you know how to play, but this is absolutely not the way to introduce a proper way to blow into the horn.
That's not actually 'saliva' - he's not spitting into it! His hot breath contains water vapour which on contacting the colder tube condenses into liquid water.
It's worse enough that some Indian manufacturers make trumpets in the 60.- Dollar range. (not plastic ones but even worse, mouthpiece included) It's even more worse that those plastic trumpets are advertised from some professionals (Alison Balsom jumping the bandwaggon included or not.) I've also blown into a new stock plastic trumpet at a seller-shop and shook up because my sound was so terrible. Some seconds later I found out that the water key was defect. I pressed it down by left hand and the sound comes out from the plastic bell . This water key surely has a break by make function it's better to forget it from the designer. This plastic piece will break first.
Omg! Is that what one has to do to play trumpet? I can never do that buzzing with my mouth. First 3 minutes of trying... gave myself a headache. K... I’m done! Glad I didn’t invest in an instrument yet.
I never buzzed my lips like that when I learned. Always used the mouth piece. If you ever get the notion to try but don't want to risk buying a trumpet, get a month piece and give it a go. A music store can be source of rentals and lessons. If it doesn't work out you've spent little money.
Recommended best way to play a pTrumpet or any plastic trumpet. Put the trumpet in the middle of a large concrete area. Pour a 1/2 gallon or so of gasoline on it, light it on fire. When the fire is completely out, repeat. When the fire is out again, using a quality dust pan and broom sweep up the ashes and deposit into a trash can. And there you have it.
Oh NO ! NO ! This NOT the way to breath in a trumpet. It is just the way to hurt your lips, with a tiny sound and a unable to play high registers. The breath is the key, not the lips. Just go to Monette videos and see how to really play trumpet like famous players do: Wynton Marsalis, Adam Rapa, Tombone Shorty, ....
I've been playing trumpet for 65 years. Whatever you do, don't waste second on a POS plastic trumpet. I've been told that they have the life expectancy of a house fly. Buy a real trumpet.
I know this guy got paid by pTrumpet to sell more products. Not saying he didn't know what he was doing, but this is awful. I play trumpet and I have no idea why anybody would buy a plastic trumpet. Brass or silver or gold I don't care, don't use this as a tutorial, get a beginner horn, and get a book with a CD. NEVER BUY PLASTIC HORNS! Also high notes are air and the angle of your tongue, relax your neck and arch your tongue like you are saying eeeeee, and low notes like oooooo. Have a good day and god bless you.
