Glad I found you on RU-vid. I got my Silhouette in January and tried to use it following the Silhouette school instructions. You are soooooooo much better at explaining everything. You actually walked through each step and showed how each step is. Silhouette was too confusing. I'm now ready to take it out of the box again and make something. Thank you again for a great tutorial. You've given me faith again and to not feel intimidated.
Thank you for your tutorial. I just made my first vinyl cut watching your beginning videos. This machine actually scared me. I have been a Cricut user for about 3 years. I have only had my Silhouette Cameo for about a week, and thought I could just use it without instructions. Not so. Thank you, again! Keep the beginning videos coming.
Good to know that the setting of the autoblade needs to be at 0 when starting off. Had not heard of the use of transfer tape, will have to try it out for more complex design. Excellent craft work with the monogram. Looks professional. Look forward to watching your other videos.
I just got my Cameo 3 two days ago and I watched this series as I unboxed and set up right along with you. Thank you so much for doing this set...it really helped me out! And although I only ruined 2 pieces of sticker paper before I was able to kiss cut stickers, I did actually end up cutting right through my matt when trying to cut cardstock...oopsies. I can't wait for my new matts to come in and get some vinyl in my hands to try making a decal. Thanks again!
Great video. I was just wondering why you are not using the tools in the box that you are unboxing. I dont have the tools you are using. I have what's in the box. Will the tools in the box work the same? Our weeder is curved...

Thanks for three easy watchable videos that ease peoples anxiety when faced with a new device and that alone creates more subscribers . Theres a lot of people who love you :)
What kind of mat is that,,, that you stick the vinyl to and pass through the machine? Does it already have adhesive on it? That would be handy on a larger machine to use up the smaller pieces of vinyl (scraps) with monograms, etc.. Is it a regular self healing mat with some type of double sided adhesive?? Or something specifically sold with that machine?

Zindee,,,, I just purchased my Cameo 3 last week as a bundle from Amazon. I haven't even opened it yet. Been watching RU-vid vids trying to familiarize myself with the machine first. I'm kind of intimidated with the thought of using it to be honest. But,, your video has helped ease some of that. You've done an excellent job in all 3 of your tutorials. So much so that I just Subbed ya. This is my first vinyl cutting machine as I'm diving into an unknown hobby now. (Kind of scary for a 58 yr old man). You see I do woodworking and would like to do signs and such. So, I'm hoping to be printing out stencils more than decals and such. Thanks for you very detailed Tutorials.

the hard thing about these machines is that you have to watch video and than go to your software or download pages of ebooks and use so much ink. no dvd or even a one or 2 sheet tutorial; that is what is disappointing about these machines. if anyone knows where i can get a dvd, please reply.

Hi. My name is Tina. I am on my husband's lap top. I followed your video, but I am still having problems. My mat loads correctly, but when it starts to cut it doesn't continue to go in far enough and then the mat falls out. I don't know if I am doing something wrong, or maybe there is something wrong with my machine and I need to send it back for a new one. Do you have any advice for me? Thank you.
Love the video!! This was a huge help! Just wondered if you had the link for the transfer tape. The stuff we bought is awful. The vinyl keeps pulling it up with the design. And we have the blade depth at 1.

Zindee I did but still wasn’t working. I went back a few times. Everything is the same way you did it except for when I go to hit send on the computer so it goes to the cameo it doesn’t do it
Zindee when I hit the send button... on the bottom it says Cameo 3 unavailable.... I can’t seem to get it to connect. So frustrating. It’s plugged into the pc and the caneo
@@ireneduryea7197 Does your computer have bluetooth? If the hardwire connection isn't working, maybe the cord is faulty? Bluetooth connection is wireless so it could bypass.
Zindee, great job. I have been binge watching videos for 3 weeks now, and am so confused. Unfortunately I have a ScanNCut DX, and can't find a video like yours.
Question? It shows my cameo 3 is available but it will not allow me to send. The “send” is grey so is the test button. I can’t figure out what’s going on. I’m using the cable USB cable not the Bluetooth

Great tutorials! Thanks. I purchased the Cameo 3 to make vinyl decals for Radio Controlled airplanes. Because I have an inkjet printer, I would like to print the image onto a white background. Will this machine be able to cut the vinyl so that I can weed out the white background that I don't want transferred with the image? These can be intricate designs at times.
Vic Duniec it does have an optical eye so you can print with registration marks but you can't actually print onto adhesive vinyl without a specialized printer. Are they too intricate to simply cut out of black vinyl? And not print anything
Tiffany Grey biggest reason, is because the software Cricut software Is internet based and you cant use it when you dont have internet (craft shows, etc)

Hey, so I'm stuck because my machine was working good and cutting great with the blade in 3 speed as 7 and force 12 but then now it cuts deep through all my vinyl and i cant get it right anymore and to cut great as before. Any ideas ?

so i cut something today, some vinyl for the first time . i notice it said force 10 and speed 5 for matt vinyl. is this an automatic setting of should the force be lowered?
My machine keeps giving me an error message: Registration mark sensor error. I followed all of the instructions you did, and noticed yours doesn't give you one, but mine does. Any ideas? Thank you
My first project was on card stock, i adjusted my setting accordingly. I missed something because the machine cut the top of my mat, outside the line guides. Is this because I don’t need to use a mat with cardstock?
