Great video! I just started making Kontakt custom sample instruments after years of using Logic sampler/EXS24. I figure Kontakt is more popular and easier to share. Have you created any videos on the advanced features - or - the best methods to package up and distribute a custom library?
Hi, i tried to create guitar library. For a more realistic sound, i want to add guitar fret noise for release. but i want guitar fret noise just for playing the chords not when i press a key. Can you help me? Is script needed?
It is the same with the free version, but I would highly recommend getting the full version if you want access to a lot of different sample libraries. Not all of the good ones go through NI and the full version is worth it in my opinion.
Hi, sorry but this is a tutorial for creating a kontakt instrument, not a library. Libraries are collection of instruments at the left column, hidden here. I would appreciate if anyone has a tip for doing a custom library... Nice presentation btw, keep going, just keep an eye on function names thx👌
Nice video! Is it possible to have more than one of these going at the same time? I am talking about being able to essentially stack several multisamples. As an example, say you have a piano sound and a harpsichord sound and you want to blend the 2. I realize that one way would be to create 2 separate libraries (piano.nki and harps.nki), load them and set them to respond to the same midi channel, and then adjust the volumes of each to blend them. But I’m wondering if it’s possible to have just one library (pianoHarps.nki) that has 2 independent multisamples, so I can just load one library. Of course, I’d still like to have individual volume control for each part.
You can stack samples, but its not as intuitive as simply loading in to samples to the same region. Making them blend well together is also more of an advanced technique :)
