The Howard Johnson's had the best kid's menus. They not only served as menus but once you had ordered they were entertaining too. Most had some kind of project you could punch out and assemble. My favorite was a paper craft spaceship but another was a tennis hat like this one.
@@CristiNeagu I think it's a hat that was popular in the 80s, as a status symbol - it's not really practical and comfortable. The idea is to create a shadow and protect the eyes when the players look to the sky And therefore the transparent green plastic It's hard to run with this hat, and the shade doesn't really help too much
It was AWESOME for Aussie kids growing up in the 70s & 80s having the Educational Fun of Curiosity Show ? before there was constant Digital Distraction
Another interesting difference of vocabulary. What Deane calls the "peak" of the hat I would call the "bill". To me, the peak of a hat is the highest point on it, when that point is reached by a ridge, like the ridge to a peak on a mountain.
I'm off to find some cardboard, plates, glasses, and a marker. Another wonderful video! Part of the fun is in the making process. That said, is there a picture file (like a .pdf) that I can download - anyone?
@@reubenwoodley96 Well that's great, I was thinking about making one in case I'm around some bored kids, so I'll make sure to share it as soon as I make it.
🤔I think you needed Curiosity Show ? growing up as a child to give you Problem Solving Skills You don't need to use a Permanent Marker, other types of Textas + Pencils & Crayons are available
But where’s the fun in that? It’s not work it’s arts and crafts. Getting kids to trace shapes, use scissors, and experiment is really important for their fine motor skills, too.
