Makisi or makishi are the masquerades of the Ngangela, Tchokwe and Luena (Luvale) people of Angola, DRC, Namibia and Zambia.

I love, it makes me shade tear thinking my favorite late Daddy how he use to dance for us every time he is happy and wants to entertain his kids. Mhsrip.. Am a bemba who has moved around the luvale areas of mufumbwe, mayinga, kabombo, Zambezi n chavuma. Love the language tho yet to learn and chindanda. It's my life desire to attend the mizeful event in Zambezi some day. Keep it up luvales. Hangamwayoya👏👏
