It works on regular systems as well. If you use the 3/4 hoses alone without the vacuum gauge. Keep the fieldpiece manifold in your truck.

@Axiom AC, Electrician I'll try and get my hands on one. Mainly working av mini-splits heat pumps/AC. Most from Mitsubishi Electric. Visited you on Facebook, and saw you fitted Mitsubishi, but this is maby Mitsubishi Heavy industries? Here in Norway it's mainly heat that's in demand. A typical system consists of a line set with 1/4+3/8" maybe 5 meters long and 1Kg of R32/R410A. Do you think the Makita is up for the job? Going to sit down and watch your videos tonight.

Yes it is Mitsubishi heavy industries, and yes same pipes and gases... its more than capable to pull vacuum on them under 500 microns... even 24 and 36.000 BTU no problem with 10m lines...
