Check out my review of the Makita DCM501 12v/18v Coffee Machine Supported By Makita New Zealand & Supreme Coffee For more information: www.makita.co.... shopnz.coffees...
Great demonstration. I’ve just bought one of these and tomorrow is the first time on site with it...can’t wait now 😎 all the best from us all in the UK
Thanks for the review. Best one yet. Nearly wasn't going to consider it because in the other vids there seemed to be water and coffee mess everywhere. Handy tip on using the filter roast.
We were about to get one of them to drink coffee on job-sites, but then my colleagues and i thought it wasn't practical, so we buy pack of beers instead.
I was sceptical at first, until I saw your eyes roll to the back of your head when you smelled the bag of coffee. I only take advice about coffee from addicts. Thank you.
I had a Japanese coffee maker that you put fresh coffee beans in it, preset the timer so I have a great cup of coffee when I stumbled out of bed in the morning. Makita cordless coffee maker needed a cord when battery dies.
It is 3 cups, each 240 ml ... A standard cup of coffee is around 120 ml ... so you get 5-6 cups of those (given that some water stays soaked in the pad). That is also what Makita was advertising, 5,5 cups with 6AH.
@@shebuildsbro it probably depends on what you are accustomed to ... in my country the standard cup size for a regular coffee is around 120 ml, about that amount you also get out of commercial coffee machines ... But yes, within Starbucks-culture 120 ml is probalby a small espresso ...
Sorry about that. I’m still learning the video editing thing. Haven’t had much experience as I am studying to be a carpenter most of my days. I’ll definitely work on it for next time. Thanks again for watching
Thanks for this review , everything i needed to know, i work in remote areas and carry about 8 batteries anyhow so this will be perfect on cold days at work..👍
The only reason it a good product is because I’m in the road for 12-16 hours and I’m not going to stop at a coffee shop for a 4$ coffee and sometimes I don’t get to be anywhere near a store where they sell coffee but still unless you’re on the road and you really rely on your coffee this is a waste of money
Hi great review, can I use instant coffee (nescafe blend 43) in this? I've just ordered one and not sure if I have to buy a bag of coffee or if I can use regular instant coffee
Battery powered coffee machine, an Interesting solution to a 'non-existent' problem. I make a pot of perked coffee at home, and fill a stainless thermos. It's piping hot and tastes great all day. When it's coffee-break time, I just sit down and enjoy the break. No need to be making coffee for the whole crew before I get mine.
Yeah the only reason I find it a good product is because I’m in the road for 12-16 hours and I’m not going to stop at a coffee shop for a 4$ coffee and sometimes I don’t get to be anywhere near a store where they sell coffee but still unless you’re on the road and you really rely on your coffee this is a waste of money
Depends how you like your coffee. I've had so much good, fresh coffee that I can't go back to instant coffee, nor stuff thats been sitting around for hours and has gone stale. If you just want any coffee, then by all means, have the thermos. But for others, we want to brew proper coffee and if this $150 machine can do a good job, then its not a "non-existent" problem.
5 minutes to make a coffe by the time it’s done I’d of forgot about it 🤣 just send the apprenticed to the shop And if it did pods that would be easier and faster to
Pods would be nice, but at the same time its then another piece of rubbish that you can eliminate by using the filter included. Sometimes for people shops and power aren't readily available, so this is great in these situations
The video is jumpy but loved the review. I love drinking coffee and tasting new coffee brands. I'm from Puerto Rico and I was wondering where can I get that coffee?
Sorry about that, im defiantly no video editor and have done my best. The coffee is a New Zealand brand called Coffee Supreme, here is a link to their shop online: coffeesupreme.com/
Thanks for letting me know. I’m not the best on the video front as I spend most of my time working on site. It’s definitely something I’ll work on. Thanks for watching though
Ryan Fenton yeah just run the machine without any coffee in the filter and add your hot cocoa powder in the cup and it’ll heat the water up and put it in the cup then stir it up.
Great stuff! I shall defo be investing in one. Makes for alot more compact set up than the box with a kettle and coffee pot I have now. Obvs it seems its only really suitable if there is one or two of you that need a pick me up during a long day. Not suitable for a whole team coffee break. But thats exactly what I'll be buying it for. Thanks for the review!!
iv been tempting myself to invest in this for ages, but hearing a 6ah battery only gets 3 cups is a bit of a let down considering i only have 5ah so assuming thats going to be less cups..., just thinking of a quick solution ill provide the coffee along as each team member provides their own battery per use ha.
Ordered one of these off Amazon and and usual falsely advertised. No batteries included, they shipped me 2 instead of n one. The cup is the size of shot glass. Not the best here!
Sorry mate I’m not a pro you-tuber I’d rather focus my time on using the tools and doing work as a carpenter. I just do the reviews to help others out. I’ll try work on it for next time. But appreciate the comment and thanks for watching
I would add, it does not solve any problem for price over 100$ ( 200 if you need to buy extra battery that cost another 100 (to make 3 coffees!?) ). If you need to work offsite, there is power line (or power generator) for power tools in 99 of 100 cases, you can use regular coffee maker that costs no more then 20$, and in 1% where there is really no power or power generators, you need to work in middle of forest, you can always use vacuum insulated bottle aka thermos. It's not worth the price in my opinion, but must admit it looks cool :)
Sweet. I'm no pro, I'm a builder. Better than someone who has a wicked video but making up the review because they have zero clue about the product aye..
@@shebuildsbro Wow thank you for a quick reply, I did watch the full video, I hope I didn't offend you I was not wanting to come across as mean or critical just an observation, I will be buying one one I like it,
@@sublieutenant no worries. Unfortunately I dont have the time to spend on editing often, so they're not the best and I'm still learning. They're a great machine and very handy to have on site, I hope you enjoy it.
