Makita HCU02ZX2 36V Cordless LXT Lithium-Ion 12-in Chainsaw 

That twin pack is an awesome idea. I hope other companys adopt that idea and start branching out to items like chainsaws, string trimmers, and so on. Even professional workers have their own yards and stuff to clean up. The chainsaws also work good for plunge cuts. Thats what we used when adding windows to our camp.

Makita has that 36volt chain saw and a leaf blower, string trimmer, cordless brush cutter that has a reverse switch on it so if grass gets tangled around the blade it throws it off. A really nice hedge trimmer, push lawnmower, small cultivater, fluorescent light, combination hammer.

Great review guys! Glad to see some Makita stuff back! That is a great 36v converter system. That is a great cordless chain saw! That is perfect for a grab and go saw. I wish we got more Makita here in the US! Keep up the great work!

Makita also has a attachment for the multi function tool that is used for knocking down coffee beans. Great video guys keep up the great work.

I'd like to see makita make a 18 volt × 2 = 36volt cordless mitersaw.

Thanks for doing the vid. I've been toying with the idea of wood sculpture, and it could be good for that. There's another vid I saw of a guy using the Makita to do that. Bruce Thomson in New Zealand.

And a weed trimmer with a multi function head. That you can put a pole saw, hedge trimmer, and a cultivater attachment on it.

That's one nice thing about the Makita battery platform is that they have landscaping tools. I know some of the brands think if they do offer landscaping tools It looks like the brand is going in the direction of being more of a homeowner diy quality tool not a pro level tool. I think its nice TTI should look at offering some landscaping tools with Milwaukee like Eric mentioned you want to stick with one battery platform if possible. Well the other nice thing is I guess Makita isnt angry anymore

Good point about the noise difference between gas and this saw. This thing cuts about as fast as my Stihl ms180 which is not bad lol considering its battery powered. Weighs a lot more though but still nice saw!

Its about time for some makita tools. I've recently used some of the newer tools with the stars on the tools and stars on the batteries and think makita is stepping up their game. And they just recently released 4.0 batteries in the UK

That is a really nice saw. Great design. That battery thing that can put both battery's in one is genius. Eric doesn't have a point with the 2 18 volts. I also didn't know makita made backpack blowers and chainsaws. Is there a chance you guys could do one of those?

I can see where it is the perfect tool for some applications but in another review I seen they said the run time was only 20 min and the battery pack on the back makes it way out of balance

Awesome! Nice electric saw. Debating on if it provides any advantage over using a recip saw with a long pruning blade. How about a tool fight, between a recip saw with a good pruning blade vs the makita lithium chainsaw?

makuta make awesome petrol saws ( actually dolmar ) rev over 13000 rpm higher than stihl or husqvarna check out the 7900 78cc of pure awesomeness also do a 90cc saw too so much cheaper than other big brands and built like a tank

Makita also makes some nice gas powered chain saws. That are big in the UK and about as good as quality as Stihl. Theres alot of Stihl vs. Makita chainsaws videos on RU-vid.

Mikita tools are very popular in ca and build there tools to ca emition laws so some people who don't know how to mix right get pissed and hate the tool. They make great stuff and thank god I don't live in ca with them laws

This thing is a toy. If you are a homeowner maintaining a small property or something, maybe... but this is a product looking for a market. It is NOT a "game changer", it's a harbinger of things to come. This is not a mature product, this is alpha-stage product. When can I buy the quad that holds 4 (18V) x 10 Ahr and runs hard and for 3-4 hours at a time? Then get back to me...

Every Makita video is the same ffs show the fucking thing in action 9 mins and they show a few cuts, stand there talking about it, all I want see is what it does in real life
