@@jahm24Each color has a higher defense for certain things. If I remember right red is highly resistant to slashing and fire, blue to I think blunt and ice. It keeps the absorption rate in either color.
It's kind of easy to forget that not only are Makoto's rings supposed to drain his power, but even his clothes are cursed to act in the same manner. And he's still holding back when he does this. He is-to put it mildly- absurdly powerful.
Should be noted that not only are they draining his power, but all his gear was designed to drain mana so much and so quickly it should kill anyone trying to wear them.
what i love about that scene is first since makoto stated that he doesnt use his kai that the others could see his aura probably for the first time on top of that his entier equipment is there to eat his mana away. Second veryone knows that and he is still so powerfull that everyone else is scared as hell.

yes but you could read the light novel version from what i hear its actually pretty good just didnt get a lot of attention so it wasnt as popular as some of the other works in the genre
a realm of monsters, an overpowered MC that might as well be a demon lord, also a little bit of harem... might as well be Slime san. That said, Netflix sure is taking their sweet time before releasing the new season
Bis abilities are becoming stupid as time goes by. It feels like i am watching a different anime in second season. First season was so good with all those fight, proper Bonding with demi humans, makoto hadto suffer cuz of godess, and then in the last the fight against dragon and dragon slayer. But now season 2 is like a laid down new merchant who is also a teacher teaching his students and talking for episodes and episodes without any proper end. Dude its like he forgot how powerful he is and he is being a pushover and treated like it By both Humans and Demons.
