Makino is ugly. He has proven this over the course of the anime/manga. The goddess should have killed him instead of just dumping him into the world... but unlike Makino, she isn't complete trash.
Shiki came in clutch making that suggestion. Makoto's text bubble spell is a good workaround, but he's honestly been really lucky that the hyumans he's needed to speak with have all been literate.
One of the reasons the Goddess keeps treating Makato like crap because he is the child of 2 Hyumans who had the audacity to ask to leave her "perfect" world.
PLus earth gods arent to happy with her because of the treatment. Thats who she was rushing him for the people that showed up were earth gods that wanted to have words with her over what she did. She also *Spoiller* almost killed him by shoving the common language in his head wrong. The gods from earth will notice and fix it later if i remember right.
@@GalironRunner the reason why it kills him is because what she actually lazilly put inside of him. something like solomons wisdom. he got full comprehension of all. including beast communication. magic languages and more. cause first time around she was being lazy and put in this comprehension ability then take out common and probably more. she was even confused as to why it was so draining on her. and now instead of just adding common. she is filling whatever she left out. cause she is lazy.
Brandon, what the Bug(Goddess) doesn't realise is that she just solidified Makoto as the deadliest loving being walking her world by giving him the power to speak Common. It's a big deal as to why😁😁🔥🔥🔥 also, her panic is due to the visitors her fairy spoke about and that's an even bigger spoiler that i want you to see for yourself
@@cvo7617 I have my theory as to why but i have not read the novel so it's just a guess. There was this huge light beam which people recognize as the goddess and Makoto has been "cured" by her to gain the ability to speak common and also teleported by her, so people might recognize Makoto as something akin to an apostle which might give him authority, but on the other hand i'm not sure if that is something that Makoto would like that. I guess only time will tell

Makoto's ability from the Bug is actually a high tier divine ability, the Mastery of Words, so when he got it the first time, it wasnt a curse, it was incomplete because she didn't want him to learn the Common language, but now because of these circumstances, she had to add Common in order to complete the gift. Now, our boy has the ability to understand literally EVERYTHING to the point that he can even talk to rocks. Why I said he's been solidified is because now he can fully read and understand ALL languages, magic included. The worst thing she could have done was give mastery of language to a guy with as much magic power as her. He can literally modify and create whatever spell he wishes now.

And that’s not even mentioning the fact that the newly revived nation of Kalenon probably isn’t going to let the hyumans march their armies through it to attack the demons, which was the entire point of taking Fort Stella, which sits on the southern border of Kalenon.
After a few dull episodes things finally picked up. Thoroughly enjoyed the little bit of action we got. And the little pig is absolutely badass 😂 Can't wait for the next episode, hopefully with mio and tomoe unleashed
Tis episode was lit! When Makato made the call to go to war, i got so hyped saying "Looks like war is back on the menu boys!" He took a play out of the demons handbook, and did not go against the hyumans, she never said anything about the demons. When they received that call to war, just like Tomoe said, "Like us, they are his people." Called out the top 2 demiplane groups we've seen form the beginning, finally getting the chance to fight. Eve is already a savage, but that lizard girl DID NOT like being called a son....and she took that personally....to the demon's head with a club. Gotta love this episode, the time has come to make his move, meet the other heroes and see where things go form here. But i wonder how his interaction with the gril would be once he sees the dwarven weapons they have. I swear i can't wait an entrie week to watch this, it's killing me!!!
Ive read most of the way through the novels and I can tell you the badassery get soon much better and some cool connections are made soon after this arc

The reason for his reaction to gaining the Hyuman language is explained a little bit in the WN by now (lots of hints that the power she almost gave him before, and completed just now, isn't something mortals are supposed to have), but hopefully the anime will eventually discuss exactly why Bug just screwed up.
The return of the most epic end credit song!!!!! "Aa Jensei" is the perfect song for this anime, done metal it fits even better. As for the common language, pay attention to the blood. As for the person the goddess is ducking, I hope they get to who it is it will clear so much up. No spoilers I don't care about the pacing it makes the action worth it and you get understanding of why the MC makes the decisions he makes. I hope we get a season 3 it will tie off loose ends this season left open. Like I said, I ADORE this story. Anime, WN doesn't matter.
Ope. The whole snake/ dragon thing is from Chinese mythology. Chinese/Japanese dragon are snake shape and they fly using some magical way without wings. I believe the way the myth goes is that a snake wish to do something and it eventually turned into a dragon. Sorry I’m not very familiar with the myth.
It's not explained yet but there's a reason makotos body reacted like that to the addition of the common toungue.... Later when the gods of war visiited makoto (shiva/daikikuten, susanoo and athena)(their also the one reigning in the gdess Athena specifically) they explained that a mortal is not supposed to learn the all language skill that the godess gave him it usually killed the skill holder , he fortunately survived with shorten lifespan which the gods of war also resolved so he won't die after a few months. These gods are also the one visiting the godess right now
Slight Correction Susanoo and Shiva are gods of destruction not war. They destroy worlds especially Shiva who destroys Universes and troublesome alternate timelines

Another webnovel for Failure Frame has entered the final arc and the MC is closing on his killing of the Goddess Vysis so author abilities and personal circumstances vary from author to author. Honestly want to see Vysis dead more than Tsukimichi's Goddess. I just want the author to have Tsukimichi's Goddess replaced with one that doesn't show favoritism to one race and that is what Makoto wants also with an added slap or punch But not death. Unfortunately Makoto may be pushed to kill the Goddess by someone close to him in the future of the webnovel who has been acting sus.
My bet is that he will still be using the writing for regular hyumans. When he wears the Spider 🕷️ suit he would probably talk. Also, the Goddess told him to take the Fort? She didn’t say anything about giving it back.
Got to point out one thing about them using the sword as their way of teleportation. It gets the one thing the merchants have on him off the table. That's why the sword breaks after he teleports the king and princess. Also why tomoe and Makato do the bad acting.
It may be a spoiler, but the bug goddess is a certain famous goddes in our world and her personality in anime is pretty much true to original myth. As in its sh*tty and whiny in the myth as well. And she is canonically trully beautiful. Its sort of her point.

Also goes to show that even if you hate people and do bad things to them it might lead to their having good fortune instead and them paying you back all their grudge later.
Something that wasn’t explained well in the anime is that both heroes have mind control powers. Hibiki has charisma which makes fanatics willing to dye for her. Tomoki has charm which makes poppets according to Tomoe.
Funny thing is that the Goddess was bluffing that she can Thanos snap Makoto out of existence. But she knows she is restricted in doing any interference with human and demon conflict. Because why else would she teleport 3 hero from another world to save her precious human.
I get the feeling that the Goddess is in trouble with another god. If I had to guess it might have to do with her summoning the other two heroes since I'm pretty sure it's implied she wasn't suppose to summon them in the first place since Makota was already promised and she went against that promise.
Minor spoiler from the web novel that is relevant to him speaking common. He was already given every language but the common tongue. So basically his brain was already filled with a lot of info. So her giving him the common tongue now was like trying to fit more water into an already full glass. She didn't even mean to give him all those languages she was just lazy about it because she wanted to ditch him as quickly as possible.

So i think it was intentional adding another language shouldnt have caused any issue and i think the the earth gods that visit him notice it and fix it as he would die from how she did it.
It was fun reading this part in the WN/LN. Demiplane citizens were all super hyped that Makoto asked them to do anything, They were so excited to do this for him that I was getting hyped up reading it.
Possible Spoiler - Pretty sure the other gods are pissed at the goddess for taking people from another world without permission. They say in this episode that the God that came was from His original world. If you remember in season one we were told by the god Tsukuyomi that he had to volunteer for the transfer and when he gets there she tells him she found others to take his place and kidnaps them. She can Hurt the Protag but he is almost more powerful then she is, so she is unable to kill him, and now the other gods are taking notice because of the Bad shit the Goddess is doing, the other gods might look to the Protag to replace the Goddess... After all, even her own people cant stand her.
no tsuk basically left a note before he went to sleep and the other gods are pissed at her for this they do restrict her later since she is a lower goddess and her world really isnt that big of a deal so she isnt actually that powerful as far as gods are concerned.

While the goddess may still have had most of the power in negotiations, Makoto took the upper hand rather smoothly. Perhaps this boy has a merchant's spirit in him yet. The boss finally issued his people a command, and they got so psyched to show their loyalty they took over a country.

The concessions and favors Makoto has gotten from people in power (hyuman rulers & the goddess) have radically changed his position in the world, I look forward to seeing all the results. I loved seeing the orcs and lizardmen assault the fortress. Emma has come a long way from sacrifice to leader/battle mage. Can wait for the next episode.
Something changed from the novel is, the reason shiki have no dialogue untill he requested for makoto to get common language is that his suffocating with the godess divinity and makoto is ok, he just power through for the request
lol the interaction between Makato and the goddess was fun to watch, I like how hostile they both were with one another. I am glad shiki asked makato to use common language, it’ill be nice to see him actually speak to his students, I hope he praises them before parting it would mean a lot them.
Makoto literaly used 4 lifetimes worth of luck before the transfer. What did he used it on? That is for future chapters to reveal. But he is on negative luck from here to a long time in the future. Sooo many plot points would have been so much easier if Makoto's timing was a bit better (arriving before something happened or after it blew up).
I still like that they as far as i remember in the novels never name her to her people its always the goddess to him its always bug but they never properly give her name or show her face.
Spoilers I think?: I have been thinking if the BUG(goddess?) Is either Venus, or Aphroditie. And if any one watch the ending song, its kamen rider, Makoto will transform. 😂
Might be a bit later bringing this up. But I think the goddess screwed up in a different way. She tried to catch him in a fae deal with the whole. 'You've made an agreement with a goddess since I gave you the ability to speak with the common tongue but now you HAVE to do what I say." but then she tacks on the 'Take Fort Stella' bit after helping the hero, which she very obviously didn't think much about. The way she worded it pretty much tells MAKOTO to TAKE Fort Stella, she basically just told him it's his.
1. I think the animation really undercuts the more serve themes. 2. Makoto lives in a world where a goddess preaches "might makes right" and ultimately neglects her job. 3. Makoto if anything wouldn't be blamed if he became a war monger. Conclusion: The Goddess created the true devil of her world through Makoto via negligence. Fantasy: The Goddess torn from her chair and thrashed in front of everyone.
Oh. Makoto knows there are going to be problems with Tomoki. If Tomoe didn't tell him, Princess Lily did. Lily told him Tomoki is obsessed with Tomoe, and Makoto is not a guy who likes to share. That's tne non-spoiler part. Readers of the novel know SPOILER. Tomoki, thinking Makoto is nothing more than a lavel 1 Merchant, who is entirely dependant on Mio and Tomoe to do his dirty work, tries to corner Makoto in a restaurant's private booth with several brainwashed maids and demands both Mio and Tomoe be handed over for his sexual favors, in exchange for said maids. Makoto, now pissed, uses Sekai to render the maids unconscious and then beats the ever holy hell out ot Tomoki, healing him up again, to beat him some more whenever Tomoki tries to protest, until Makoto gets bored, puts him to sleep, and then walks away. As gratifying as that is, on both sides of the fourth wall, it has unintended consequences, because Tomoki just can't admit he was in the wrong, and Princess Lily still has him dancing in the palm of her hand.
One thing I found interesting about the conversation with the Goddess is it showed that while Makoto has come a long way, being able to talk back to her and even call out that she's not as powerful as she claims to be, shs was still ultimately the one with the power. When she agreed to give him a reward for helping her out, Makoto had nothing because it was just empty words to piss her off. My boy may have come a long way, but he clearly has a much longer way to go before he can stand up to her. I 100% believe the pain Makoto was suffering was of her design and she just pretended it was something wrong with him out of spite.
My guess is that it is probably more related to the curse she puts on Makoto. As the curse actively prevented him from speaking the common tongue even when he already have learned the language.
@@juan0808It wasn't a Curse. What she gave him previously was a Incomplete Power, and there is a reason why Makoto couldn't speak the Hyuman language even though he learned to read it. Same for the pain Makoto felt when his power was completed by the Goddess (the pain and bleeding wasn't something that Goddess did willingly) In order to avoid saying any spoiler, i would just say that the Goddess is actually somewhat an Airhead.
And that's the thing I don't understand is why are people getting mad at the fact that Makoto is choosing to do nothing. Guys you guys be forgetting one thing he can help them if he wanted to that doesn't mean he's got to. Second we've seen how these Hyumans act and to be honest it's disgusting. So it's best to let them face a little bit of some pain before giving them a remedy of relief.
Makoto gained more then they let on, remember before he could speak anything but 'common' and this goddess haft asses everything so giving him that cause him to bleed from eyes and all because he now has the complete source ofMastery of Words, which would kill a normal person easily: comprehension ability/Wisdom .
Another huge satisfying payoff of an episode thanks to season 2 part 1. But I'm still horribly afraid and worried about that trash empire hero who I think is gonna somehow either screw up again the hyumans fighting the war or force himself into Tomoe. 🤮 If that happens please I hope Makoto destroys his ass..

Just to be clear the Goddess is actually well know on earth but the other God that visit will not tell Makoto her true name . . . . . . . . . .. .. . . . My theory is base on how she is the biggest guess is Hera as she even throw her own baby Hephaestus for being ugly and Aphrodite as she hate her husband and often cheats with Ares or other God that is not Hephaestus her Husband
The goddess is basically a popular girl who never really grew past that mindset. With the power of a high goddess. That is why she is so hated by so many, even as they make nice to her face.
This trash goddess is originally from Earth and she is being visited by other gods from Earth that can pull rank on her 😂 people that read the novel speculate that she might be Aphrodite. Makoto so going to trash her in the future with permission no less 😂

I pyt this one on 3 position on isekai because a lot of humor and like building Nation but I will glad helping to ha e more power to be able to fight the godess and will be glad if we got a 3 season
She was panicking because other gods - i think 3 or 4 of them- have been sent to seek explanation of her interference on the lives of the people of her world 2. the reward Makoto received will give him a new skill - like speaking to the moon and even new attacks (called moon)... this goddess isn't that bright i think.
I think Mikoto is going to take a page out of Rona's (demon) book. Notice how he specified the deal before dropping through the hole. Protect the hero and take the Fort. Hero aside, the deal states for Mikoto to take the Fort, it doesn't say a dang thing about giving it to the hyumans or demons. I think he is going to take it, keep it and use it as a foothold to take the rest of his homeland. The "Protect the Heroes" bit of the deal may keep the brainwashing trash hero from being killed by Mikoto once he finds out how bad he wants Tomoe.
Makoto finally get to trash talk that shitty Goddess 😤 But the reward of being able to speak the Common tongue is incredible! She doesn't realise how it might backfired her in the future in my opinion 🤣 But Ema going to taking over that fortress with their army was insane! Don't get on her bad side or you'll get annihilate 😱 The armor trash hero is very likely to become Makoto' enemy for sure 😂 But as for Hibiki, they will be good friend, I think so 👀 Especially because they were in the same High School! All the set up in cour 1 is paying off with this episode and the cour 2 as a whole 😎
i actually cried tears of when i warch this episode. It was just peak hype with a huge build up. I am so glad that i gave at a chance when it came out. Its like a hidden gem for me. So few people are talking about it. yeah the animation is not s tier, but the story, the emotions in this episode was everything i hoped would happen and it blow my mind. i just love this anime so fcking much
Well he got pretty lucky now with the goddess summon as he now doesn't have to find another way to explain on how he got there to help the heroes without the "teleporting sword".
Well considering those two aren't a hyuman but a dragon and a spider who shares the same views the goddess as a petty and selfish, I would think that those two would only wish they were there to further antagonize the goddess
