@Dim Sim Bogan we dont claim we are developed. We will take the criticism and try to work hard to improve. Whats their to mock about. This is our struggle and through this we will find ways to develop. It will take some time. Hunger index is not abt food bt abt nutrition. A big chunk of our population dont really think nutrition is important. They eat same thing over and over again. For example in rural areas, if it is potato harvest season, i can tell u whole village eats Boiled potato Three times a day. It will keep them full and going bt in terms of global hunger index, just eating potato is lack of nutrional diet. Its more like lack of nutritional knowledge. Bt still there are people who lack even basic hygienic food. So i accept ,we have to grow more. And we are not comparable in many fields to rest QUAD members. Bt if u compare military, calling us the weak one , is plain ignorance. In the fire power index , indian military is just behind US , RUSSIA and CHINA. Soon noone will be able to mock at us.

@@starter0951 It was mostly inconsequential. Basically the Chinese needed to be trained by the Russians on how to fight the Americans. That and they were obviously attempting to send a threatening message to Japan. Beyond the "incident" with the American vessel, nothing unusual occured. Apparently the Canadians just sailed a frigate through the Taiwan Strait now adding another western enemy of China openly confronting their hostility towards Taiwan.

What about gyms? My shipmates from the US Navy say that most of the vessels in the US Navy have gyms on board for their sailors to be able to blow off steam between port calls. I was in the US Army, but spent a year on a joint task force(what was then all 5 branches of the US Armed forces-Navy, Army, Marines, Air Force and Coast Guard) on the US Naval station at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. The Space Force mission was covered by the US Air Force's Space Command.

Building bigger than the USN won't let them dominate when there are now six nations other than the US opposing Chinese aggression (now adding France) who have aircraft carrier groups to oppose China.. The only real question is when will India start ramping up their own carrier production rate to match its size and industrial capacity. At present if you think China only has to deal with, at most, four US carrier groups, you are ignoring at least 10 carriers from other nations who are opposing Chinese aggression.

India needs 3 operational aircraft carriers, so a total of 4 in all. Given that 1 carrier each will be dedicated to the western and eastern seaboards, a third carrier is needed for flexible deployment if India wants to be a true blue water navy. India also needs to hard-top some of its islands in the Andaman Sea (unsinkable carriers) which overlook the 'choke point' Malacca Straits. Geo-strategically, the importance of the Andaman Islands for the Indo-Pacific is equivalent to the importance given to Pakistan vis-a-vis Afghanistan.

@Black Lion, which ally of the CCP are you referring to? The Russians, Pakistanis, and North Koreans seem to be China's main allies. Of those 3, only the Russians are friendly with India. Other than that no real conflict of interests likely exists.
