I visited Sikkim back in 2017. I remember when we visited north sikkim, our driver Dipen Tamang used to play this song in his car. Golden Memories. Glad that i found this song.

Sikkim is my favourite place. I love to go there at least 2 times a year. When ever I get time I never think of any other place . I love Sikkim people. They are amazing. Sikkim should start own film industry like other industries in the country. Nepali language is one of the official languages in India. Sikkim artists should start showing their talent. This song is amazing.

Long back year on year 2008 Mr GK rai came to visit nepal from Gangtok with his team. Unfortunately everyone stuck in nepal because of strike while on the way back to Sikkim. Entire day/ night me and my friend 2 of us were with them to make sure they don’t suffer. We didn’t knew each other before it was first time we mate due to strike and this song MR GK rai and his team was singing In both version Malai Sikkim man parchha and malai Nepal manparchha with guitar. Since that time i love this song and i always miss them and those moments. Lots of love from nepal. ❤️

@@bobbykim198 gorkhali people were settled in Sikkim during it was independent kingdom . Sikkim was independent till 1975. It has nothing to do with Indian govt. N kirati Nepali tribes r native of sikkim who r native in east Nepal too. It was called limbuwan from thousand yrs along with today's far east Nepal . N sikkim is kirati Nepali limboo tribal word. Kirati name for kanchanjangha ( tibbetan given name ) is seseylungma. dwirap which is river of west Sikkim is kirati limboo word. Namchi, dantam, loksom ( first capital of sikkim ) r all kirati Nepali tribal word . It's lepcha, kirati n tibbetan treaty of 1642 through which kingdom of Sikkim was formed. Though gorkhali( pahadi, magar, gurung ) were migrated from 1800 after conquring Nepal n kirati kingdoms ( Rai, limboo, yakkha, lepcha ) of today's east Nepal. There was keen difference between gorkhali n Nepali / kirati till 1774 till gorkhali annexed Nepal ( Kathmandu valley ) n kirati kingdoms came out from ancient nepa ( khambuwan, limbuwan including sikkim n Darjeeling given to tibbetan to rule in 1642 ) Do proper homework.

I understand where you are coming from but everything you know sounds more like a narrative that was fed to you by the government or your folks? (It is called a propaganda in English, you should definitely look it up in your dictionary)… and obviously, you haven’t read about the wars fought between the gorkhas and Sikkim in the past and I think you are completely clueless on how the then leader of India (some Gandi) carefully placed gorkha/Nepali people to start riots and protest against the royal family of Sikkim. Gorkhali has played the biggest role in annexation of Sikkim with the help of government of India. I understand that you probably do not have an access to these confidential information but you could read about it in any state libraries outside of India. But hey have you tried google-ing about it? Because you are too far off from the truth lol … One more thing, India tried to use the same tactic in Bhutan in the late 1980s but failed because they knew better from observing its neighboring sister country Sikkim. The only ones who suffered the full extend of its wrath were the again people of the similar ethnic group (Nepali or gorkhali). And going back to your point on how gorkhali have annexed so many little kingdoms as you mentioned in your comment, that does sound like gorkhali was power hungry ethnic group wanting to invade its neighbors in every which way possible. Sounds like a compulsive problem to me. Also, wasn’t the first capital of Sikkim called Yuksom lol did you just pull Namchu out of your ass?
@@bobbykim198 it's gorkha vs sikkim war not kirat vs Sikkim war. Kirat today speak gorkhali language same way lepcha, tibbetan, tamang, Sherpa speak. N sikkim have not much population of gorkha. It has more kirat, tamang , lepcha, bhutia. N all magar r not gorkha. Eastern magar r native of sikkim. Till 1890 only chetry ( except kumaoni of far west Nepal ), western magar, gurung were called gorkha. If u donot know anything donot give comment. Gorkhali is not ethnicity. It's name of small kingdom of in today's central Nepal which extended later. N kirat r thousand times more native in eastern Himalaya than any other. Eastern Himalaya means trishuli river of today's Nepal to teesta river. Same kirat r todays Nepali mostly due to gorkha kingdom annexation of kirat except those of sikkim. Ok. Sikkim exist from 1642 n today's Nepal ( not ancient nepa of kirat ) made by shah king as gorkha kingdom by renaming it Nepal in 1923 exist from 1800. Kirat exist with own identity from.thousand yrs.

Me and my family will visit sikkim soon. I am from also live in hilly district in Bangladesh and i really love hills. Huge love and hug from Bangladesh💖.
I had the opportunity of visiting this beautiful state and I had made some beautiful memories with my family there .The people are extremely kind,polite, generous amd easy going . Sikkim is serene, its mountains ,rivers , people are so good ... There inherent respect for nature and mountains is something that we should all learn from .❤❤❤ Lots of love from U.P .❤❤ Sikkim man parcha ❤❤❤
