Be sure to check out my Qatar Airways Upper Deck Review to continue the trip to London! Enjoy :D 🇶🇦 DOH - LHR 🇬🇧 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-OdQFJMsbTKU.html
You are flying with the airline I want to do a thesis on as this airline has gone through challenging times. Next year, hopefully it regains its status for its cabin services and 5 star ranking.
10:30 the same thing happened to me on my flight to london (9m-maf) but the cabin crew told me that you need to connect it through Safari. I doubted at first, but then she showed me how its done and it worked! Seamless connection for the whole 13 hours.
I know this is a codeshare flight...1st question...you bought the tix at MH or QR? 2nd question...while the leg room looks good for you but how tall are you? Good video anyway...thx for the content.
Hey there! I bought the ticket through Qatar Airways. For some reason, when I booked with MH, the Qatar Airways code share didn’t appear on their website. So I had to do it through Qatar. As for my height, I’m 5’4. The legroom space is 31 inches. Thanks for watching! :)
cool, but how i wish MAG implement Premium Economy on their new 330neo but sadly not gonna happen. well, Malaysia do not have such market so I stick with China Airlines, Eva Air & Singapore Airlines for now... troublesome but comfort in long haul flight
Yeah me too! I wish they were a little more open to such ideas. Singapore Airlines would be my go to if I was just a passenger getting from A to B. Thanks for watching :)
Hey there! I thought to completely ditch the rating because I just wanted to show you what to expect when boarding this flight. I was thinking it was up to you to decide the ratings, but it seems many of you would like it back, so I’ll do it for next time. Anyway, here are my ratings: Cabin crew: 5/10 - Malaysian hospitality was no where to be found. Cabin: 10/10 - absolutely loved the design of the SAS cabin. Seat: 8/10 - nicely padded seat, legroom could be more. Legroom: 7/10 - as I said, could be slightly better, but it was decent enough. IFE: 6/10 - Movies were quite limited, could be better. Service: 8/10 - Quick and efficient crew, seemed a little rude when collecting trays though, he kinda snatched it off my hands but hey-ho. Meal: 10/10 - Can never go wrong with Malaysian food 😉 Cleanliness - 10/10 - Cabin as well as lavatories were kept clean. Value for money: 10/10 - Especially because you got an upgraded cabin to they usually Malaysia Airlines design, and Qatar Airways was also pretty good. Paid 11,500rm ($2,400) for KUL - LHR via DOH round trip. Total ratings: 64/100 Hope that helps. I’ll bring back flight ratings next video. Thanks for watching! :)
May I know why the plane was not parked at the gates? Instead they parked stand alone like that. Kinda curious really. Don’t get me wrong cause it is cool but I just kept wondering why.
Hey there! It all comes down to number of reasons. Either there’s no space at the main terminal for the aircraft to park at, or the airline is trying to cut costs. Most likely, it’s cost cutting. Thanks for watching! :D
Morning arrivals most parking slots are taken up, and priority is for Qatar jets. On the remote bays are always JapanAirlines MalaysiaAirlines Finnair + other OneWorld members Also Hamad airport is under construction for expansion of the concourses. So the reason why parking bays are limited for the time being If you arrive at other times, u do get access to jet bridges Dont think JL AY are on cost cutting drives bcuz the heat in the summer can be very torturous. Dont think so even MH is cutting costs
You do realise most airlines have metal cutlery in economy, right? 😅 Airlines like Singapore, Qatar, Etihad, Emirates and more, offer metal cutlery onboard.
@@LeeAviation i know. But those are luxiry airline with higher ticket price. Anyway, its just a cutlery. From my pov, those hard plastic cutlery are better than wood cutlery (in virgin atlantic, british, sas and other european airline) which makes the dish taste awful.
@@fared___3409Not necessarily. Malaysia Airline’s have a high ticket price between Kuala Lumpur and London, so much so you need to fly another airline to cut costs. Malaysia Airlines can definitely do it, and if they’re aiming for luxury and standards, they need to think about it. Yeah wood is gross!
@@LeeAviation in that case, they should revise or upgrade their catering sevices on board to match the standard with respective airlines. But i dont think theres major changes in terms of their hard product or catering services which is quite disappointing to see.
@@fared___3409they need to stop plastic anyway mate, and it’s ridiculous MAS doesn’t have metal cutlery. It should be standard operation anyway, they’re cutlery 😂
