@@BadmintonInsight At the end of the day there are far fewer winners than "those who come second". I thought you played really well, but at the end you just seemed to be trying a bit too hard and that's where the mistakes creep in. Frustrating, but we (and you!) know you're good enough - you just have to demonstrate it! 🙂

Thank you for another great vlog. One tactical thing I took away from the last couple years watching competitive badminton is when matches get close the top teams start covering the mid court and front court more and leave the back court a bit more open. This means they put more pressure on the opponents who of course are hesitant to lift anyways. I noticed this when watching your match against the Malaysians when Greg played a little too conservative in the court coverage leaving his backhand side mid court open a few times. I wish you all the best and hope you can get your needed points for your home tournament.

Another good video, with a great variety of topics. Hard luck on losing out. One of the areas picked up on was the court practice. This again was all against players who also lost in the first rounds, reflecting similar levels of playing and coaching. It may be worth looking at higher level coaching options outside BE and also better opposition practice players. Take the case of the Indian pair of Rankireddy & Shetty bringing Mathias Boe onboard, and look how far they have come.

Indeed.. I thought your voices in the commentary box sounded familiar and Gillian enjoyed your company too. Zheng Siwei didn't look his usual self throughout his MXD loss to Kim n Jeong; perhaps he was still pre-occupied with Greg's attempts at Mandarin!? Another great video.... looking forward to more from Indonesia and India....

Hope you enjoyed it! It was very fast conditions so not many rallies and not too many tactics. Yes he was very ill a few days later unfortunately 😥

Hello, to answer your question related to the Chinese word CHO: it means ball. As for the first two words, Yu Mao, it literally means feather. Nice video btw!
