BRICS is made to fight and counter the west and create a new "world order". It's a big trap if small countries join Brics with those barbaric countries like Iran, China, and Russia. India and Brazil is only there for economic purposes but these small countries like Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Thailand joining Brics will just be a slave country in Brics. Theres a reason why Argentina, Saudi Arabia declined the invitation to join Brics. You already know the reason. Btw. Malaysia is like a china state with 60% of their population is chinese ethnicity. I will support PMX's decision to join BRICS even if I don't agree with his policy. So that you don't want to be cheated by the IMF even if there is an effect on ASEAN when talking about US-EU & Russia-China geopolitics. However, the people have to know. If not, America is not happy, there is no question of bringing up the issue of Saddam Hussein in Iraq & Muammar Gaddafi in Libya, and there is no denying the issue of Iran & Turkey when under threat.

It's a no brainer, BRICS plus is a growing market for Malaysia and being part of that group enable Malaysia to export its product and services within the group which has the largest population in the world. Better late than never! Purely a personal opinion, Anwar has consistently demonstrated b4 doing the right thing he seems to procrastinate with much unnecessary errors in trying to get things correct. The G want India to join them or else India will be fully committed to BRICS which the G doesn't want that to happened. Before China open up, the G or western has be bullying India with suction after suction. Since China is awake, the G need India. On paper this G or NATO is an organisation of team. Walaupun Malaysia join Brics, Malaysia tetap masih jalinkan hubungan perdagangan mesra Eropah & G7. India juga memiliki hubungan agak baik dgn USA Walaupun India Anggota Brics. Brics bukan Pakatan Kententeraan tp kerjasama Ekonomi, Malaysia Tetap Anggota FPDA bersama United Kingdom.
