Malcolm Douglas travels the three famous outback tracks, the Birdsville, the Oodnadatta and the Strzelecki. He meets the amazing human and animal inhabitants and shows the brilliant colours of the outback.
He was 69 when he died, and it was only like a few years ago, via an accident where his car drove into him somehow. He would still be alive today if that didn't happen. His natural death by disease would most likely have occurred in his late 70's or early 80's, meaning around the 2030's would be his proper death date if the accident didn't occur.
@@ziongite your right as he would not have smoked or drank alcohol n eat good food not junk rubbish 'so ya he would have lived very wholesomely thats for sure.
Hello from Scotland. I've never heard someone attempt to work out a lifespan using the thinking u have. Accidents are a part of life, I'm not so sure u can calculate a potential lifespan using ur methods? @@ziongite
There are many parallels between Malcolm and Ulysse in Homer. Both adventurers of prime stature and venturing in dangerous beautiful nature terrain on sea and land.
When I was last there, my daughter wanted a painting of the Caznough Tree. We managed to get her one from the North Blinman pub. You ever get there, I left my card hrom the UK on the wall of the pub.

No. Billy is the metal pot he gets of the coals. You boil water in in. The tea is just ordinary black tea i would assume. Look up the term "boil the billy'. It's just an aussie term.
Malcolm Douglas is the only one of these Aussie Adventurers who was genuine. He was exactly the same in real life. The rest, would cross the street to avoid people.
13:37 I actually thought of this idea am now I’ve seen others have done it. Fuck the Union Jack! This is not England’s land. That flag is a far compromise to what should be done but I think it’s a fair start.
The Page family deaths is a proof to me that there is no God who regards humans as anything special or worth to be compassionate for. There are physical laws, matter, space but that's it. Everything else is our minds creation,
Talc Alf Think on 30 yrs on I understand not wanting the union flag but Thirty yrs on things ain't getting any better so its fish and chips or what Alf wants Rice RICE and lots of it
Talc bloke was a tiny bit right about letters. They are derived from symbols. But freakin hell - he made up a huge lot of nonsense. That was a bit embarrassing and probably should not have been included
@@russellking9762 People go out there to hide because they can't cope with relationships and being close to people. If he's still alive he's probably a flat earther and believes man never went to the moon.
Classic case of Pareidolia, for every R word that has anything to do with his hypothesis on R=Rotation he's discarding the hundreds of R words that don't have anything to do with it which are the majority of R words, sadly most people have no clue that they are shooting arrows at a tree and then drawing the bullseye around it afterwards, it would be hard for me to stay polite and still point out how his hypothesis is bullshit which I suspect is what's happening when people visit they probably just nod and say "oh hmm yes that is curious" so Talc Alf never hears anyone point out his faulty logic
