Yeah, teachers were the worst bullies I've ever had honestly. Like, the main ones. Other kids don't actually have power over you. They're going through many of the same struggles. Once you fight back and hurt them worse than they hurt you, they usually stop being a problem. Teacher bullies on the other hand, especially when your parents will automatically take the school's side have all the power and get off on making your life hell because you don't have the option of walking away or fighting back.
@@TrueNomadSkieshad a teacher bully only way to beat them is to not play, dont get aggravated, dont get sad, just do your work and forget them when your year is over. Real easy as long as you dont let them get into your head
I wish we got to see more of Malcolm's friends in the last 3 seasons. Stevie showed up frequently and that was cool but I would've love to more from Cynthia, dabney, Kevin, Lloyd and Eraserhead.
I’m actually kind of glad they weaned them off. you got to keep the focus of the show on the main characters if you spend too much time focussing on the side characters people lose interest.
I loved Cynthia and what she did to Reese 😂it was something like : "i will not be objectified i will not be disrespected kiss my shoe KISS MY SHOE " while she beat his ass
the thing i like about this episode is that herkabe was somewhat right in saying the krelboynes were coddled and had an easy road so far, except for malcolm malcolm knew what it was to have his intelligence seen as a cross rather than a reason to feel superior. he didn't come from a family that paid his way into a nice school or particular teachers, he had to fight for it, and that's why he could take on herkabe's challenges and rise above them
It really helped that he had Lois to be a life long antagonist to his egotistical side. Say what you want about Lois but her patrolling over them was necessary to prevent the boys from becoming monsters. My favorite moment is when he experiences Guilt and questions if his family had a soul. The Krelboynes would never have these human moments. Malcom is so grounded and uses adversity as a motivator to excel beyond a room of coddled mensa students. It is messed up Lois layed out his future from the start but I see why. Malcom knows what struggles are and with a brain like his he can do so much for the world.
@anglosaxiphone8246 Wrong. Lois actively sabotaged him every step of the way. He didn't become mischievous and vicious until *after* she bullied him into lashing out. She also has an astonishing lack of foresight, and is unrepentant about it. Malcolm will fail to achieve the ambitions Lois has set for him, it will be all her fault for refusing to leave him alone, and she won't accept that.
A Teaching Certificate from a Community College? Best teaching job you can get with a degree from a Community College is a teacher's aide. Nowadays if you want to be a teacher, you need a Master's in Education and a Teacher's license, along with passing a bunch of teacher's tests too.
@@Faroohaism depends on the economics of the region. Teachers I'm my area start making 6 figures after 5 years with masters degree, and they cap out around 120k after years on with the district.
Actually these Coddle Nerds needed someone like Herkabee....however Herkabee should have realized his tactics were too much as that is Middle School....where they should have this tactics in High School
The thing is he could have pushed them and taught them without being mean. He could have refused their gifts politely, or even taken them and chucked them out later. He didn't need to insult them and deconstruct their issues in a humiliating way in front of the class. Saying that we see from Herkaby over the episodes that he isn't there with the intent of helping the kids but to have a sense of power over others. he straight up bullies Reese in an effort to blackmail Malcolm so that Malcolm won't beat his GPA record. When they get the super genius one episode he mocks Malcolm for finally finding a subject that Malcolm struggles with. Herkaby could have been a good teacher for the students, but he didn't actually care about teaching them well, just having his power over them.
The former is beyond fucked up. Imagine being so insecure that you can't stand to have your record being broken. He should've been fired and told to never teach again after that. The man is incredibly pathetic and lonely, and I have 0 sympathy for people like him who think anyone less intelligent than them are inferior and worthless. Those teachers he insulted earlier are probably a million times better at teaching than he is, which newsflash people: just being amazing at something doesn't make you a good teacher. That's why there are only a few virtuoso Musicians out there who choose to teach. Most people aren't able to.
Well, he wasn't wrong. They weren't really growing with their previous teacher, and to really push them to the limits will prepare them for when everyone wants their money and complete destruction to get ahead.
Originally Herkabe was supposed to be a good-natured character, former Krelboyne and a successful billionaire businessman selling top of the art home security. He was originally linked to Caroline as her ex-boyfriend and had a daughter with her. Caroline was supposed to return for season 3 as a much darker and cynical character, taking her anger out on the Krelboynes for the rocket mishap which nearly endangered her and caused her to go into labor in the school parking lot. Herkabe shows concern for the Krelboyne class when she becomes neurotic, controlling, and cynical by using a point system and making them do extra homework which causes him to report her to the principal. He becomes friends with the class, especially Malcolm, as he was once the normal kid in the class. The actress who portrayed Caroline refused to reprise the role as she felt it would ruin her character, so her character was written off the show entirely.
Granted I don’t have a teaching certificate from a two year community college like most of the people I was forced to say hello to this morning in the teachers lounge. But ya know, I’m just gonna try to muddle through with my double doctorate from Harvard.
