You dummies still believe that shit! The nation was a gang back then! Fard came at a time when the people weren’t that bright and needed something to hold on to so the nation had a purpose for that time! Just imagine if they would have operated not as using a religion and just for the unity of blacks people no matter what and we United as one! I don’t know how a black man can be Muslim or Christian both groups were evil to black people! Killing Malcolm was the worse thing the nation has ever done! Black liberation should have been the cause all this religion bullshit to the side Malcolm had come to see that Elijah was blind with worship and power and was not for the betterment of black people as a whole he was only concern with the nation and that’s it! That was a conflict for Malcolm he loved all black people! Unity is the cure to all that ills the black community! #blackunity repsoect to Malcolm Elijah wouldn’t have been who he was without Malcom and vice versa!

Taught by Honorable Elijah Muhammad...
@thetruthisonlyperspective4872
@@ronofficial5958 by the man formerly known as the honorable Elijah Mohammed. When Elijah started impregnating underage girls out of wedlock and in violation of his marriage according to Islam, he fell from grace. Because he's a fraud. Malcom X withdrew entirely from the dishonorable Elijah... This would ultimately be the reason he was murdered in cold blood. If you don't despise the fraud Elijah Mohammed for the dishonest hunk of shit he was, then you aren't capable of appreciating the message of the honorable Malcolm X.
@ronofficial5958
@ronofficial5958 Год назад
@@thetruthisonlyperspective4872 you send this to me because I commented that Malcolm was taught by Elijah???
@thetruthisonlyperspective4872
@@ronofficial5958 no, not at all. You left out the word formerly before honorable. I just needed to clarify the mistake. Malcolm X wasn't a hypocrite. He gave his life defending the sanctity of Islam which the disgraced Elijah Mohammed willingly violated. Instead of doing the right thing for the prosperity of Islam and excommunicating himself and facing his punishment, he slandered, libled and ultimately put a hit out on Malcolm X. I'm sorry, but this is a case where you can't play both sides of the ball. Malcom X was a visionary and philosopher for not only the nation of Islam and blacks in general, but for all of humanity. When you wrote "The honorable Elijah Mohammed" and chose not to preface that with "disgraced" or "formerly" you completely disrespected the entire legacy of Malcolm X. He deserves his respect.

Barry quite simply was trying to debate Malcolm instead of interviewing him. These are two different things. He was there to ask Malcolm the questions and respectfully await an answer. In any event, he was no match for Malcolm who won this debate handily. Barry was dealing with someone who with limited formal education , was an intellectual in his own right.

every mlk day, i think of malcolm x; a man so honest he enraged others. he held a mirror to all. He spoke as he DID -and so few do, not even elijah mohammed. he could evolve in his thinking, not saying he made errors, but instead his mind was always OPEN. he is my hero and my grandmother and father had me read his autobiography as a teen. my grandma supported Castro and her and my dad also had their minds' OPEN. i learned more from his book than any other book in school. malcol x deserves more recognition, not because he would want it but because WE need it. People especially angry ones, need to hear X. His message, strength, example. Mr. Malcolm X is a global hero; we need to show respect also to show we aren't scared of him anymore as we have with MLK. the fact that we cannot is the same reason we need the BLM movement.

The great thing about this channel is that it is indexed and catalogued accordingly and in a very easy to navigate manner. I remember back in 09, when I was first "shocked" into being politicized, it was a headache to run across the great speeches, debates, interviews and other things that the elder philosophers talked about back in the day. So much love and respect to whomever runs this channel and keeps these important moments archived and readily accessible for us. That is such an important reason why the Internet is such a great tool.

It's hard listening to the obnoxious tone of the host. Thank you for posting this. It shows me how utterly ignorant I've been . I'll listen to everything this man has been saying.

My life got transformed the moment I read Malcolm X biography. When you encountered me you will definitely see his kind of argument in me, fact based. The unique thing about him is that he's self taught, and we can all agreed that he's far better than a normal PhD. Great man.

If the interviewer knew then who he was talking to today, he would have canceled all his commercials, all his guests and all his carreer sanctimonious goals to give Mr X exclusive time to lay his brilliance and soothsayer qualities to educate the masses on a continuance basis

Barry was doing what his people has always done...Trying to force Malcolm to conform to as how he/they believe he should view respect. It back fired 😂

I can't get over how they try to intimidate him and think he's not smarter than they are?? They never knew a black man to stand up to them eye ball to eye ball... Sir.

Malcolm X was my brother and one of my teachers in the knowledge of The Black Man and The Black Woman and the knowledge of self and of GOD, whom I choose to call ALLAH. The Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad, (Peace Be Upon Him), has taught one of the most honest and sincere Muslims on the planet. As-Salaam-Alaikum.

That makes no sense because he was made by Elijah Muhammad. Malcolm said this himself. He said Elijah Muhammad made him taught him everything that he knew and made him everything that he was, he’s the one who opened his eyes. He would obviously be above Malcolm, who was a great man

Barry was lo key pro Malcolm X. He used his platform to humanize brother Malcolm in the eyes of white Americans. Malcolm and Barry had an understanding...plus, they were creating good radio.
