we were absolutely taught this. I grew up in michigan in the hood and went to public schools - which republicans are ok with gutting. they may not go into enough depth on these subjects - but if you have a problem with that, you can rest assure it's REPUBLICANS, specifically trumpers, that are trying to remove historical and current texts that acknowledge racism and slavery - because "racism is a myth and doesn't exist", and it's hurtful to white children to have to deal with the "biased" history...its crazy. the republican party used to be objectively better for black people in terms of rights, back then, and democrats used to be the farmers that hated big government and didn't want a federal government to impede states rights to keep slaves. it's very clear. and the confederates were democrats. over decades following the civil war, industrialization, changes in demographics, both parties evolved and changed, and by the 30s and 40s democrats were introducing social policies and welfare and became the party promoting social justice. Whether folks like malcolm x thought they were sincere or not, he said the conservatives and republicans were less dangerous because they were openly racist and easy to spot (who this clown shamelessly misrepresents in this video) some folks will try and say the parties never changed or effectively 'flipped' on particular issues, i.e. slavery and racism - but are baffled by their own logic when you say the confederates were democrats. Republicans are now against large government, federal government and are fighting for states rights over the rule of the federal government. I was taught about this stuff in 7th and 8th grade.

The left doesn't want blacks to succeed. Under Trump the number of black businesses exploded nation wide. In 2020 the democraps used the death of a doped up felon to create an excuse to push for race riots across the country led by BLM . Those BLM rioters weren't burning White business or white neighborhoods they were burning black ones just like they have during every other racial riot in our history. trump was sued for marking colored people's housing applications with a "C" and telling them there were no vacancies, then saying the opposite to white people. the difference, the majority of politicians on both sides and even black voters supported the crime bills, trump did this on his own as a business practice, along with many other blatantly or arguably racist things. if you're concern is solely racism, there's more things you're apparently not considering here. not defending biden (didn't vote for him or hillary - I'd be saying lets go Brandon if it wasn't a pro trump statement), but if the crime bills are the only reason you're voting for him, I can give you plenty of reasons not to.

I truly hope after the dust settles that more truly great leaders emerge from the black communities and not these brain washed college grads with the warped ideas about race and division. I know in my heart some black Americans in school now will find out of this downward spiral. Black ministers are the hope of these young folks. The teaching of morals and a keen spirit to the youth will set the stage for those thinkers needed to instill the ideas of success and promote the self respect Malcom X so oftener talked about. He spoke out about not waiting by the masters door waiting for a hand out. The loss of Martin Luther King and Malcom X set the societies both black and white back decades sadly.

My daughter had friends who were black. My grandsons have friends that are black. They come and spend the night and they spend the night at their house. They live in the country.

Is the division game is more prevalent in certain areas? In the country turned suburban area where I grew up, 30 miles from Boston it was considered gross ignorance to see people as colors. Its insulting to our intelligence to know that certain politicians have been gung-ho on dividing the citizens for quite some time.

This is the great challenge of government, provide the canvas for creating art, or try to paint the portrait for the people. I believe that our government should give us an education that generally teaches us how to create what we want, then gives us an equal playing field to fulfill our potential…sorry long winded answer 🙂
