Welcome to my first blog from paradise!!!
Take a look at a wonderful beginning to my stay at Hurawalhi Resort - after a short seaplane flight from Male and beautiful welcome, I got spoilt at a spa, swam in front of my villa and finally dined at the world's biggest all glass restaurant called 5.8 (because it's 5.8 feet under the water surface, in the bottom of the ocean!!) STUNNING!!!!

A Week here will run you 25K... On a creditcard 24.5% you will need to make a minimum payment $800 a month for 4 years to pay off that 7 day trip... Yep that one wee 25k trip now cost you closer to 40K

Wow ! Thank you for awesome and informative video ! A Professional video ! A big big love for the creative video thumbnail ! Maldives is a country of beautiful islands. The airport is on an island and main city (Male) is on another island. There are regular ferry service between airport island and main island. The hotel (Somerset Inn), we stayed, was very good in hospitality. It is very easy to change US dollars in the country, it is slightly not easy to change other currencies. Banks at airport at departure will only change the remaining Rufiyaa (which was exchanged during arrival). Streets in main city are very narrow. Bikes are mostly parked on the streets. The taxi can be hired for local transportation. To go to other islands, ferry service (which are relatively cheaper than private speed boats) can be used. Male island is highly populated but other islands do not have much of population. There are private island and private resorts as well.

I'm so proud to be one of the first tourist being in Maldives Kurumba island. 1976 there where only a few cottages. Built from corals. Daily fish or lobster for dinner. Feeding murey eels with lobster. Flying with an old plane of the Sri Lanka airforce. It was an adventure pur. Nowadays it looks like Bahamas or Tahiti. I know, they need money for existents.Ok. I`ll keep my memories. I was a nice time.

I caved and booked a week in Hurawalhi with my wife for our Honeymoon. It was amazing and we stayed on the last bungalow off the reef... So much for Retirement! ;)

Wow beautiful Maldives.. But we also have the same in Philippines If you want white or pink Beach, blue lagoons, beautiful landscape hundreds islands. we have in balabac Island, coron Island and elnido Island.. Infact Philippines rank #1 2020 most beautiful beach in the world.. But we don't have underwAter restaurants...I hope someday.. Maldives, Hawaii and Philippines are blessed with beautiful beaches......

People might be bothered b/c, she doesn't get to the restaurant (which is prolly why most people clicked) til halfway through the video & she did make the whole video more about her, as opposed to the restaurant/experience. Also in most videos I've seen, that give a tour or show an experience like this, the video focuses on the experience. So even though it wasn't misleading, perhaps she could've used a different title.

Cool video I have been to Maldives 5 times and stayed at different resorts each time. I know about this underwater restaurant but didn't get the chance to stay at this resort so maybe next time I will consider it, And yes I have been to that Aquarium restaurant in Dubai that you were talking about - Ossiano in Atlantis Hotel, right?
