I actually like longer videos, especially when they're travel vlogs because it lets you see more of the country. Also, the videos come out only once a week so long videos are justified compared to daily or every-other-day vlogs which, yes, should be short

We had an amazing time on Dhiffushi and wanted to share our experiences to show that it's possible to travel to Paradise on a budget... which was something that really surprised us! 😁🏝️ We were so fortunate with the weather - had some incredibly beautiful days. Being almost on the equator made it very hot every day... I've never been as thankful for aircon before... that was until we reached India in the monsoon! We ended up eating most of the remaining food with Tom and Kaelin, our lovely Couchsurfing hosts in Male, and took the oats and turmeric to India. @@Maeve-oz3dl Thank you so much, Maeve, for the lovely compliment 🙏🤗 I think coconut would be in almost every dish in the Maldives as coconut palm trees are everywhere... kind of like tuna. Grilled tuna wouldn't have coconut, but then again it might be grilled or marinated with coconut oil. If need be, you could always buy a load of food either in Malé or on an island and prepare your own meals. I show loads of different food options and prices in this video if you want to see what's available.
