We have to maintain our ties and wait for pro India gov. to from in Maldives . If that wasn't a case our navy would have shown them what bullying actually looks like . When Indian Fighter's are unchallengeable and flying above you and Air craft carrier passes by your shores , they would have known what India actually is but unfortunately we can't do all that .

It is a country with just the population of one tier 2 city of India. Obviously it is not easy to find talent to fill all the critical roles. If the same forces who wanted us out, earnestly realize their misake and want us back, we can accept it. However, we should degrade them ne level lower for being an unreliable neighbour and use a cautious approach in believeing them future relations. This would not be wrong. Let them prove they did not jeopardize our interest in he past or inerim period, and make it their policy not to do so in future. They are sovereign. But when posited so close to us, certain potential to cause damage is inherent. Asking them to assure us before seeking to normalize is not unfair.

They cannot sell it or donate it to China without Indian permission because India is original manufacturer hence buyer country if reselling or giving it to other country requires manufacturing country permission.

Just because their leader is stupid, that doesn't mean their people are our enemies.
