1. We didn't get a local sim. You will get a wifi in hotel. And also it's good when you don't have internet because when you are out you will not use your mobile and will enjoy the beauty of nature. 2. ATM withdrawal didn't work. So carry atleast 100$ if you are on budget. If your budget is more then you can increase the cash amount too. And wherever card is accepted you should swipe your card, otherwise 100$ won't be enough. Also make sure that your card is activated for international transaction otherwise you will be in trouble

For ticket charge try skyscanner website to find cheapest flight from Mumbai to male or kochi to male. Visa is free for Indians. Agent charges too much. Trust me you can handle all by yourself in 70% of the given quote by agents, that too in a better way
