Glad that you enjoyed your little vacation Bri😊👍 I can relate why people were looking at you when you travelled alone.. 😄 before Covid I used to travel by myself a lot. Usually for a weekend or few days trip, cause it’s not always easy to adapt your schedule with others, so many times I got asked If somebody if coming to visit me later or if I want to book breakfast for two and etc Cmon independent women can travel alone just to enjoy themselves ☺️

I am absolutely stoked that you get to go to SA! I was born and raised next to the Kruger and used to go many weekends with my family, and I hope that you get to hear the lions roar at night and all the other animals. Stay safe though as it is near the border of Mozambique and unfortunately not very safe. But have the best time! X

I came back from solo vacations from Egypt. Went for a week and stayed one week longer and i really enjoyed been there by myself. Cant wait for next holidays 🙃

Haha I was actually planning to go to the Maldives as well (also standby) just to spend some time by myself. Unfortunately the flights are already overbooked so I'm planning to go to cape town. :D Any recommendations?

Hi Bri, you are very inspiring! I absolutely admire you and what you do. I actually also enjoy traveling solo, and this is the only way I can properly relax. And yes, I feel you about visa issues. I'm Russian and we need visas almost everywhere we go, I worked on cruise ships for 8 years and it was so challenging to get visas whenever I needed to join the ship, especially when I had to transfer ships, even though I had all docs from the company, still there was always something else I needed to prove. And the funniest thing is that I never had any issues with US visa, that was the only embassy and immigration officers who were always polite and nice and never requested additional paperwork.

The video was really helpful. I just realized I m not taking this solo trip. Thanks. I ll probably go to Goa or dubai solo in February instead

I feel you about that visa. For us filipinos, aside from Visa, we go through hell with the immigration officers here esp when u dont travel often or travelling alone. Its like their job is to get u offload. Thats why u have to do all ur research especially on how to answer questions😃 Its just kinda annoying for us that they give us hard time with the visas even if its an asian countries. Unfair to those foreigners who can just visit our countries anytime they want.

I dunno why it should be so tough for Lithuanians, people from the EU aren't going to try to illegally migrate to South Africa or something.
