Male rover seems to be more expressive. For example in 7:43.

I dont think so i think its more like male rover expresses his emotion with his whole face while female rover uses mostly her eyes and that true for real life aswell women tend to be more expressive with their eyes...which if was on purpose was a cool detail.

I'd argue it's the female Rover actually. Her eyes are more expressive than male Rover, but male Rover tends to emote more with his mouth

She is not she is the one that "eats" at 2:45 she's basically a better "echo" either given by goddess or rover already had her in their tacet mark before the goddess gave them the mark (most probably in past life or something idk)
